{{{SIGH}}}

Well here we are just over two weeks until we close on the new house (April 28th). We move out of our present house on May 1st. I have to say I am totally fed up living in a state of untidiness. There are boxes everywhere and stuff for the garage sale also everywhere. You just don't realize how much stuff you accumulate over the years........

I pride myself in keeping the house as tidy as possible......it just isn't possible at the moment, and honestly other than the basics, its not worth while cleaning the house.

I am panicking as if its miserable weather on the 18th and 25th of April, when I hope to have my yard sales I don't know what I will do, as we have so much stuff I want to get rid of.

I tried to dig up my magnolia on Sunday, but it is rooted in so much that I would have just made a big mess trying to dig it up, so I'm afraid that is going to have to stay. I did however manage to dig up my three poppies that I wanted. There are no flower gardens to speak of as far as I am aware, so it'll be all to start from scratch, so I am looking forward to doing that when the weather warms up.

I guess I just want this moving lark to be over and done with!! Sorry for whining and {{{SIGHING}}}

It is a very stressful time moving house - I remember it well. We have really enjoyed making our new garden from scratch - it evolves slowly as new ideas come to mind. Really good luck with the disposal of unwanted clutter.

This is the worst time for you because the end's in sight.

Just think how terrific it'll be once you're in your new home. It won't matter about the boxes and mess, you'll have the rest of your life to sort it all out.

If there's any left over from yesterday, eat some chocolate, quick!

You'll feel tons better.

GG

PS Don't forget to make some time for yourself in amongst all the packing up.

I hate this part of moving! I told hubby the next move will either be to a nursing home or the cemetery--and either day, DD has to sort through the mess! lol

Remember the train "I think I can...I think I can..." You Can and you are almost there so chin up, ignore the mess, and keep your eye on your lovely new home and country adventure!

Gill, Can you possibly take a soft wood cutting from the Magnolia? It may be worth a try.

You must be so, so busy right now. Wish you well in all the activity.

I feel your pain. After 2 weeks, I still have many boxes to unpack-I just lack space to store it all and stamina to get the job done.

I hope your weather for the sale and the move are great.

Whining is permissible when you are packing for a move. I allow it ALOT! lol In fact, whining is allowed for at least 30 days after the move too.

Hope your move comes quickly and that you get to sell everything you wanted to.

Have a great week
