Not sure what's happened, but I have lost my "mojo" for decluttering. That's not to say I haven't done any this week, I have just not with the same gusto I did over the last couple of weeks.
I am working on week three of the four week decluttering plan and according to my intitial plan that I posted here, I should be cleaning out the kitchen cupboards. However I have been working on both the kitchen and the basement. I don't have photos as honestly there isn't much to show yet. However I have managed to sort out three boxes down the basement. One is still full with things I still want and have to find a home for. One box is full of stuff for the garage sale, and one box was flat packed and thrown out and all the things thrown in the garbage.
I cleaned out the under sink cupboard so that was good, not that there was anything to throw out there as I had just cleaned it out not too long ago. The same goes for the cupboard where I keep our everyday china, I managed to throw out a couple of things but I had cleaned it out not too long ago.
I then decided to use the excuse of having to call Jane to see how she is doing..........she fell and broke a bone........to have a break. After talking to her for a little bit, I decided it was time to sit down and read a book, as I had no desire to do any more decluttering. Hopefully on Wednesday I will have more of a notion to do some more decluttering.
Are you in the mood for decluttering/Spring Cleaning this week?

I've done a couple of cupboards this week, and I sorted and listed 34 items on ebay at the weekend, so I'm hoping most of them will be gone by next week!
When I decide to de-clutter, we will have one very large and interesting garage sale! We have lived here for nearly 40 years so...
like the new look.
Its a good day not to declutter.
I know exactly what you mean about losing your mojo!
I'm not doing the decluttering challenge but I do have to be in the mood.
I got loads done last Easter Hols. The weather was right and I was in the right mind to do it.
I feel like I'm treading water a bit about my challenges...know I am an impatient person....
Just chill and you'll get back into it when you're ready.
Friends and family come first!

Seems like you need a break from decluttering, albeit a short one.
"Mood" is very important, however I have had to push myself a few times, however took the day off yesterday all except for the before photos of what I want done for Week #3. *Sigh* I am weary thinking about it. Good luck today with any you might tackle
I know the feeling, Gill. In my case various meetings have gotten between me and my decluttering. Not only do meetings take up a LOT of time but they also sap your energy!
I hope today you have more will to declutter.
My mojo too is fading, unfortantly the area's I want decluttered won't go away so I am still at it. This week was my biggest challenge (sewing/scrapbook room) so I won't give up yet. Next weeks should be a bit easier!! Enjoy your down time!!
The weather has a lot to do with my mojo, sunny = energy for me, cloudy dull days = lazy with a big "L". We have had too many cloudy days, so not much being done around this house at the present time. I do have a couple bags of stuff that is being picked up tomorrow by the Diabetes truck. So some progress is being made.
I do have to get out into the garage and have a good clean out there, a lot of tools etc. which are going into a yard sale when the weather breaks.

Gill, I did offer to come over and help but the word 'impedment' was mentioned!!
Jane xx
PS Cheering me up was much more important.
I am so preoccupied with getting a new laptop and doing research on that that I do little else...try to blog a little here and there but even that is hard part of the time. Roger now has a cold...so that just is not fun...we had wanted to get out and just be out a little this week...guess it will be next week.
That's why I made sure to do all my decluttering at once, I knew that if I stopped, even for an hour, I would have trouble getting going again! But then again, I'm in a 3&1/2 room apartment :o) It took me six hours to clear out the whole place!
I go in fits and starts with decluttering. I did a goodly bit before Christmas and again afterwards when i was setting the house back to rights.
I can feel my next big surge will be when i'm preparing the taxes, as that seems a good time to do a paperwork purge.
I am picking up a side of beef today so in preparation for that, i've been using up what's in the freezer. Some of it needed to be tossed, like a large zippy bag containing smaller zippy bags of broth that decided to leak, but overall, there's not been much to report in the science experiment department.

Know how you feel, mojo is missing in action.
Did get the kitchen totally cleaned this morning. Tangled with a can of coke. The Coke won.
I know the feeling, I decluttered every day last year but have lost the motivation recently. I did do about 3/4 of the bathroom closet the other day (finally) but have to finish it up.
I have spent most of today cleaning and I have now certainly lost my mojo for cleaning - until the place is dirty again!
I was a little worried about my broken bone til I realized you meant a different Jane....okay....phew!! I'm supposed to be doing my laundry in the evening challenge instead of one the weekends and so far I've done...let me think...NO loads of laundry!! Maybe we're a little challenge-weary!!
