Christmas Eve in 1970s Britain...

I know this is after the fact, but I remember so much of this as a child........

it was the Woolworth's pick and mix, that brought back memories, I had forgotten about that.......

A simple time that was challenging compared to today. But I think people were happier. They still knew the important things were the love of a happy healthy family not the price of a gift

Your video was fun. I can't believe the lines of people getting their turkeys. However, I do recall my mom putting her order in for our turkey in the late 60's. I guess I've just forgotten how it was.
