This is more Spring like.........

We went to our "local" Garden Centre on Saturday for a ride out.  They have lovely, albeit pretty expensive stuff.

When we walked into the store, this is what greeted us.  A truly spring-like display.  The bright yellow's were just stunning.
As red is my favourite colour I loved this display.  The seating set, and I think the table in the middle cost $2,999.99
Those little arrangements with the blue primulas were so cute, but were $19.99 each!
I am a sucker for red poppies.  I loved these pictures and the cushions were as lovely.
More primulas, ranunculus, along with heather, and other spring bulbs.
A pop of pink and Easter Bunnies here.
This blue set was in one of the greenhouses.
Yes that outside set is leather and for the price of $4,499.99 you get two chairs and two ottomans!!!
Finally the greens, love the green "grass" bunnies on the right hand shelf.
We are going back there next weekend as they are having a Spring home and garden show there.  We go every year and have a super time, well worth going.

I rather like the green glass vases in the last photo. I like green glass -- but have nowhere put to such things in this house. Anyway, judging by the price of the furniture, they would probably have been beyond my budget. I did like the red furniture though, but it would have to be 75% off !!!

My kind of shop but yes, lovely to browse and dream but leave the credit card at home. The stylists for these displays are very clever.

Not sure if i would put a $5K couch outside.

Cheers, looks like a lovely visit.

Interesting. Although you're a long way away it doesn't look so much different to what you'd find in a UK Garden Centre! Especially the daffs and the primulas. Lots of them around at the moment over here!

What a fun place to visit--I really enjoy places like this, this time of year, because the flowers and displays have a way of making me feel better. I love it all, especially the Golden statue in the first photo! :-)

Nice to look at, way beyond our budget.

Yikes those are some hefty prices for stuff to sit on the deck and fade in the sun and get rained on. But they sure are lovely to look at. Enjoy the garden show. We've booked tickets to Canada Blooms to get our gardening fix.

Wow, this cheers me up a bit! Although not the prices! I loved our day of sunnier weather yesterday! It all makes me much perkier!

Gill, I love looking at displays at the garden centre! Can't imagine putting that leather set outdoors, but ... whoever buys it probably has someone to move it in at the end of the day! Spring is nearly here and I've not yet taken the time to formulate a plan for the garden. Must get on it.

It's getting so that even your backyard now has to be designer. And the prices omg. Nope we are doing a backyard redesign and I won't be paying those prices. Pinterest has lots of recycling ideas. I might have to look closer at that. They are beautiful though.

I think I know that store, having lived in Simcoe county for 5 yrs. :) if it is where I think it is, you should go see their Christmas displays when they are done, stunning
