I will catch you up with what I changed out etc., in a day or two's time. Got a busy couple of days ahead of me painting the stair treads and painting the kitchen.
We got the tiling finished in the kitchen, only have to put the silicone around the edges now. Got the Christmas tree up, but not decorated. Have decided to down size the Christmas tree if we move as it is so bloody heavy that tree, even when it is splint in three each piece is heavy.
Did want to ask you all something else. Is anyone still on allergy pills this time of year and do they know why they need them?
I went off my allergy pills the middle of last month. as I ran out and as the weather had turned cold and we had snow figured I was fine. Three weeks later my poor nose is itching again and is full. Under my eyes are sore, as though I have a minor sinus thing going on. My ears are filling up and I feel as though I have allergies again? I have no idea what too though?
Is anyone on allergy pills year round? I am on blood pressure pills so I cannot take any sinus medication. I really don't have the time to go back to the doctors, but don't want to go back on allergy pills again if I don't have too.

Lots of renos going on there ! I haven't any allergies but do have a friend that gets the same thing and went to a specialist and found out it was the weather that affects her . I just ache from head to toe in the cold and or damp . Hope you can figure out what it is and why and get some relief . Thanks for sharing . Have a good day !
Hi Gill,
I take allergy pills all year round. If I do not take them, my nose starts running and when I go to bed, there is quiet a bit of wheezing. I tend to believe normal household dust does that. No matter what you do it is rather difficult to get rid of all the dust living in a metropolitan area with lots of new high rise construction going on. I do not use rugs in my bedroom and very few rugs elsewhere at home. Hope you feel better.
I am taking Claritin most of the time except on the days that I seem to forget.
My husband has been wheezing away when we put up our artificial tree earlier today. It must have been dusty.I feel so sorry for anyone with horrible allergies, so miserable isnt it?
Usually in winter it is dust, dust mites, mold, mildew or animals. The mold/mildew cause if even a pinch is there from summer it will bother you. My daughter's ENT also says the weather can affect it. Try the Nero Pot. It helps also get some nose spray from your doc. It also will help. For the eyes try some eye drops-ordinary lubricating ones and use a humidifier. That also helps some. I am on allergy meds all the time. Like you I have blood pressure issues. I can tolerate 1 Tylenol sinus every week or so without it affecting my pressure. Day time one as the one for nighttime will really put it out of whack. We all have allergies in my family so lots of years figuring it out. Good luck with your house sale. You have a very beautiful granddaughter.
Roger has allergies to something all the time...just sometimes he is worse than others. Maybe you are allergic to some of the things you are working with...Roger allergic to sawdust, etc...he was really bad when the crops were being harvested this fall.
