The day after another snow storm...

I had a snow day on Wednesday so no work.  I took these photos on Thursday morning and thought I'd share with you.  I will do a blog post for tomorrow morning to let you know how things have been going.

I am bloody well sick of this weather now!!

Hello Gill
Maybe we could meet somewhere half way - here in Melbourne we've just had 14 consecutive days over 30c in February. You didn't hear me say this but I'm about sick of it as well lol
Take care
Cathy

Hi Gill,

I lived in Ankara for two years (late 2010-late 2012)before moving back to Istanbul and we had two severe winters in Ankara in both years. For a whole month in 2011, I woke up to more fresh snow and I had to scrape the car every single day because it was always below freezing. So, I know exactly how you feel.... But, this year I am back in Istanbul and it snowed only once when I was away on a business trip and then there hasn't been a single flake of snow ever since. Some flowers and trees are already blooming and the weather is very mild and I MISS SNOW! Go figure... :))

Your photos look so much like mine did. I loved how the trees looked before all the snow dropped off. It took ages to clear the driveway and deck, so hoping that was the last storm of winter.

Look like our place..and it was the heavy, wet 'takes forever to clear stuff' too. Roll on spring and the next 'ladies who lunch' day out

The snow looks beautiful Gill.....because it's at your house not mine.
We only had a couple of inches, and some of that melted during the day.
Cheer up, at least we are on the right side of Winter, here in my part of Ontario, March is coming in like a Lamb..Whoops...out like a Lion.?

Our snow is melting fast with our mild temps, but I know full well that we are NOT over winter yet! Statistically, we are due for our typical Spring snow (heavy & wet) from now until the end of April.... blech!

Oh poor you Gill. I am hoping we have seen the last of our snow and ice for this year, not that we ever have as much as you anyway! It has been very spring like this week.

In the UK we seem to have picked up a very irritating new phrase which I believe would apply here.....a 'Snow Event'. Too much indeed Gill. Sorry!

Gorgeous photos but I am sure you are sick of it. We are sick of the weather here and we haven't had anything like that. This has been a strange winter for us, for sure, as it has been very changeable which I never like. Looking forward to summer and hope you get rid of all that snow soon!
