I managed to get the Christmas tree up the other day. I am up to ten Wedgwood Ornaments now.
I made Baked Bean Lasagna on Thursday night and it was so good. It's been a while since I have made it. The recipe is here.
This week's "Home of the Week," is very, very nice and very, very expensive at $3.5 million. The maintenance fees on this place, as it is a townhouse, is over $2,000 a month; who on earth can afford that? Also I see "R's" kitchen stools again in picture six, and here was me thinking they were very shi-shi!!! Every fancy house seems to have them; though not in orange like "R!" Such a shame there is very little outdoor space also. Love the staircase.
I LOVE this week's "Condo of the Week." Love the finishes and the layout. It doesn't feel like a condo, and I guess with it being on the first floor it doesn't look like a condo either. It feels like a well loved home and one where you can make a mess in without being afraid too. Don't love the $1.2 million price tag, but you have to admit it does have curb appeal.
Thought I'd share with you Wales own version of Elvis in this Christmas song video. Love Shakin' Stevens:

My kiddies and husband could destroy the lovely look of those houses in seconds! All three of them are a disaster zone, although DD is showing signs of improving, she likes to line things up and tidy lol

Gill, my dear, the home of the week is YOUR HOME! When I read your title thought thats what you mean't! Not commented in ages but read every day - having chemo at the moment so laying low, but love reading your entries!

Your tree is fabulous Gill. We have the same type of star for the top of ours.
Your tree looks beautiful. I am going to try your baked bean lasagne--looks yummeeeeeeee.
Your tree looks beautiful. Someday I am going to move into one of your showcase Condos and hide out for just a week or two:) B
I love your tree. It looks so nice against the stone wall.
Love your tree, Gill! not sure yet if we will be putting one up or not.
The Home of the Week had me at 'heated floors'!

I can't remember for sure, but I liked this home of the week about better than any you have shown...and as for the stools...wouldn't they have looked better in r's orange? Just to add a bit of color. Not saying I loved it all...just that it did not see quite as sterile and hands off as so many of them.
But now the Condo...I did totally love it. Loved the colors...loved that there was a bit of yellow in most rooms.
Very Very beautiful tree!
Love your tree! It looks geat. :-)
Gorgeous tree Gill, and I love the exposed stone wall.
This is a beautiful picture of your tree.
I have never heard of bean lasagna, let only prepare it. But it is definitely on my list to prepare. Looks yummy! :)
Gill, are you able to take some closeups of your Wedgwood ornaments? Would love to see them.
