Indian baby shower.......

I am writing this on Saturday night.  It's been a good but busy day.  Enjoyed the Indian baby shower, and everyone was so friendly and nice.

I am shocked but I got permission off of everyone to post photos on my blog.

From left to right dd best friend, "R", who finally looks pregnant!!  Me, and dd.
Thought this was a better photo as I was actually smiling!!
I wanted to show you this photo as you can see the back of my blouse,

I can't remember what I was doing there, but I was doing something as part of the ceremony.  Do you like the two girls on the rights outfit?   They were really cute.  The house where the ceremony was held was stunning as well.  I should have taken some photos of the light fixtures as they were gorgeous.

The chair in the back to the right was so comfy, I told them I was taking it home with me!!!  They did something very weird to me, but probably not for some of you.  They added lemon and cucumber to their water?  It's supposed to be refreshing?  I enjoy lemon in my water, but not too keen on the cucumber.

As it was a religious ceremony they don't serve meat or eggs, so we had South Indian vegetarian food.  As I don't tolerate spice at all, I had Naan bread, which was yummy a little bit of Tamarind rice with plenty of yogurt over it to dull the spice.  There were plenty of other types of food, but all with spice in. Dd, Kristy and dh all tucked in as they enjoy it.

So one down, one to go......

By the way, water with cukes and lemons is a great detox drink. Especially if you add a few leaves of mint to it!
