Can't believe it's already been a year.........

Since dd and son-in-law got married can you?  It has gone fast.

Happy Anniversary to both of you!   This is what we bought them:

Paper is the first anniversary traditional gift, but someone told me a clock was the modern first anniversary gift, so I got them a clock for their kitchen.

Also yesterday was the baby shower.  I only have a couple of photos to show you, as I never got a chance to take photos.  I will ask "R" to send me hers, as I know she took photos of everything.  People started turning up before we were completely set up!!!  Only because I threatened "R's" close friends with the naughty step if they weren't on time!!!  Yes, I did!!!!

In this box are the chocolate caramel cupcakes, the mini chocolate cupcakes and the lemon cranberry loaves.
In this box are the lemon cupcakes, filled with lemon curd.
In this box are the butterfly buns, they have raspberry jam in them:
In this one are the pumpkin spice cupcakes:

This is the one photograph I managed to take at the actual shower:
As you can see people had enjoyed the food at that point!!  The biggest success were the scone's with the clotted cream and jam.  Dd loose leaf tea went down really well as well.  Again I will share photos when I get them and explain more.

Will admit to being pooped but pleased that "R" thoroughly enjoyed it and there were a great mix of people there.  Plus she got a huge pile of gifts, which I have yet to see!!

Gill, I would have been a nervous wreck transporting those pretty cakes. They are much nicer than those in our coffee place!

Happy Anniversary to your loved ones. Beautiful food, and gorgeous cupcakes.

Curious to know where you picked up the boxes to transport them. Does Bulk Barn sell them. I need to transport some a couple of week-ends from now. :)
