Hubby had a glass of wine with his meal, I just had water. They brought homemade chocolates at the end, but we were just too full and I took them to the hotel room.</span><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Now, have you heard the expression, that your eyes are greedier than your stomach? Well that's how we felt as we waddled back up to the room. We were full to bursting. We went to bed at our normal time, as hubby is not well at the moment, and it had been a busy day.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">At around 11:45 pm I woke up with a terrible bad stomach. I had the worst stomach upset, that caused me to be in the bathroom for 45 minutes. Came back to bed and woke up again at 5am to go back to the bathroom. Hubby slept awful because of this chest and cold issue. We both felt like death warmed over. We decided to go downstairs to have some breakfast.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I wanted some oatmeal to coat my stomach and hubby wanted his usual toast. <a href="https://www.vintage-hotels.com/prince-of-wales/noble-restaurant-menu/">Here is the breakfast menu.</a> Neither of us could stomach anything on that menu. So when we ordered what we ordered, I don't think the server was happy, but we didn't care.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Also we ended up canceling the afternoon tea, as we were so over having food. The thought of having afternoon tea just made my stomach churn even more than it was doing. We checked out after breakfast and drove home.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We had thought that the breakfast was included in the package, but it was extra. If we had known that we would have called in at a Tim Hortons on the way home and not incur further costs for the kids. But the kids had arranged for everything to be charged to them.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We got home before lunch time on Saturday and never moved from the living room, other than when I went for a nap which is something I never do, but I felt rotten.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We had the best time ever, but the food was just so rich, and our bodies aren't used to it. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I am writing this post on Monday morning and my stomach is still iffy. Hubby is as sick as a dog and is not at work.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">It was a super treat to stay at the hotel and that dinner was perfect.</span></div><div><div><br /></div><div><br /><p><br /></p></div></div>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-45618473011788546452024-03-18T01:00:00.003-04:002024-03-18T01:00:00.136-04:00Hotel Stay<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">First of all thank you for all your birthday wishes. Each and every one of them was greatly appreciated. The kids bought me/us an overnight stay at the <a href="https://www.vintage-hotels.com/prince-of-wales/">Prince Of Wales Hotel </a>in Niagara on the Lake. It included, dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea. I will talk more about that in another post. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">The kids booked a winter special but upgraded our room to a King sized room with balcony. It was so spacious and very comfortable. Niagara on the Lake is a good two hour drive from where we live. It was a super day, and the afternoon was lovely and warm. We were surprised to see Daffodils and snowdrops in bloom. The daffodils are barely through where we live.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUYcGu-AIwl4TW4mDvdgqnmnegQVykZYL0pf4ICIHDGn2uUHzi1HO1cjt3z8pMapdhjXcvUmj8ZjQWo-0rAR_GSkpVwXZSa35IoBND4mTplUNU4-4sag8OISUU2UNqiPiJepYdUI1YW39TAWkemO_qDnTbc9gSym32Mc2mKSNPZeZonfHshkuQYQSKtfE/s640/hotel%201.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUYcGu-AIwl4TW4mDvdgqnmnegQVykZYL0pf4ICIHDGn2uUHzi1HO1cjt3z8pMapdhjXcvUmj8ZjQWo-0rAR_GSkpVwXZSa35IoBND4mTplUNU4-4sag8OISUU2UNqiPiJepYdUI1YW39TAWkemO_qDnTbc9gSym32Mc2mKSNPZeZonfHshkuQYQSKtfE/w640-h480/hotel%201.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">When we walked into the room, on the desk was a complimentary bottle of wine as a birthday gift from the hotel. I got a call on Tuesday from the dentist, asking me if I wanted to change my cleaning appointment to 8am on Wednesday morning. Said that was fine and off I went there on Wednesday morning.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">The hygienist was someone I hadn't dealt with before. Although quite nice; she was also very pushy. As I think back to what she said about my mouth and teeth, I personally should walk into a lake and never come back out....LOL I mean if she did "praise" anything it was followed by a negative comment about my mouth.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">She did however suggest I should use a water flosser, as I refuse point blank to floss my teeth with regular floss as it feels like nails on a chalk board to me. I will take her up on that idea, to try it out. All in all that visit cost $140, and all she did was clean my teeth. I do not have them polished, don't like that. She did floss my teeth, she scraped them and poked about in my mouth. I did not see the dentist, as it meant hanging around for another 15 minutes, as he didn't start until 9am. So all in all a waste of time and money!!</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I am back to ordering my fruit and veg bags, for $20 a month. Here is what I got for $20. There is only one thing we won't use and that is the celery, but I have my good friend coming up today and will give it to her.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJUAvjMfYaFVjEXh4ouYNCBfUUxQZm924hSBTncWP8jSG78XBpMqONTsNom0MjQ4cilK4GM3GJMp__EiXTKVNzoLF9O6IFbndxPOBbx8bcGQy7FYgUsCcZEdtR4OQYzKevmqpSmoxJngyDfP3VriktPxFVZf-c-GGJsGSRTjxqy6Svh-5Wx5DTPQ36M4w/s640/veggie%20bag.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJUAvjMfYaFVjEXh4ouYNCBfUUxQZm924hSBTncWP8jSG78XBpMqONTsNom0MjQ4cilK4GM3GJMp__EiXTKVNzoLF9O6IFbndxPOBbx8bcGQy7FYgUsCcZEdtR4OQYzKevmqpSmoxJngyDfP3VriktPxFVZf-c-GGJsGSRTjxqy6Svh-5Wx5DTPQ36M4w/w640-h480/veggie%20bag.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I know I have mentioned this before but I do love my Tupperware FridgeSmart containers. Plus I got a coupon in the mail for 6 free bagels from <a href="https://greatcanadianbagel.com/">Great Canadian Bagel</a>, as it's my birthday in March. I have never got this before, and don't remember signing up for it? If you click on the link and look for the birthday icon, you can sign up there. So I picked up two sesame seed, two cheddar cheese and two everything bagels. I also treated myself to a sesame seed bagel with veggie cream cheese and a coffee for my lunch, which cost $7.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVWJmAtjtw6oqK5bdV4a5QBUKZ5IYSVzAPaaP7Iwr3OmMyYVuki1qPYqG86J47t5rWTlm0PwxgV37cGqMt81gcOVq8cY1HaK17V47JR3KF5uRzihJ8336p41GSvShnh527dZMqFl7PcS4-ZmzPA4t2O2-NXczDO1stMxr5lJ2tkkGM-9LDESK6XeJhrEc/s640/bagels.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVWJmAtjtw6oqK5bdV4a5QBUKZ5IYSVzAPaaP7Iwr3OmMyYVuki1qPYqG86J47t5rWTlm0PwxgV37cGqMt81gcOVq8cY1HaK17V47JR3KF5uRzihJ8336p41GSvShnh527dZMqFl7PcS4-ZmzPA4t2O2-NXczDO1stMxr5lJ2tkkGM-9LDESK6XeJhrEc/w300-h400/bagels.jpg" width="300" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I was also bad and picked up three books for $10 at Indigo in the mall.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPgW1Xbg6OinHlMqs7zMV9bMNGRVNpy6LKp7wABKjHVIEfLpEpLjZmBf335R7Hed-PO7Hr697xCOQHrThCEToCMbnPJtRLczT7Mu5k0UMZnV1H2qLtriggVx6xZLHDXFyD0G24bykoPue9Kxiwf1TcCpyAJJVfNhEITKaMmh426glXTvMuLhyphenhyphen7_GQS8cc/s640/books%207.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPgW1Xbg6OinHlMqs7zMV9bMNGRVNpy6LKp7wABKjHVIEfLpEpLjZmBf335R7Hed-PO7Hr697xCOQHrThCEToCMbnPJtRLczT7Mu5k0UMZnV1H2qLtriggVx6xZLHDXFyD0G24bykoPue9Kxiwf1TcCpyAJJVfNhEITKaMmh426glXTvMuLhyphenhyphen7_GQS8cc/w640-h480/books%207.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I rarely go to the mall, so enjoyed my walk around it.</span></p>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-61946125344381580282024-03-13T01:00:00.001-04:002024-03-13T01:00:00.133-04:00Another finished project........<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I finally finished the second piece of cross stitch that I am putting together for a project at the end of the year. I have been putting it off as I find the back stitch fiddly. I am liking how they are looking though.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2w_cd9o4k3nh6nKFTS4ro0jqTCvnvFeKXrBS-ICjhyRijmo4t-udbfxuA47wYbmiIuYziYj_PV7BekjbF3xQ0TYJgSTIK2-Wdva_ZFtZPqqFfGfz49YKtnEPoACfrhYS9woy7YPVEcHDZj6oswe19laLcQy7QSHHhZvr7okgaENsUkfQRsTC50K8gn80/s640/cross%20stitch%206.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2w_cd9o4k3nh6nKFTS4ro0jqTCvnvFeKXrBS-ICjhyRijmo4t-udbfxuA47wYbmiIuYziYj_PV7BekjbF3xQ0TYJgSTIK2-Wdva_ZFtZPqqFfGfz49YKtnEPoACfrhYS9woy7YPVEcHDZj6oswe19laLcQy7QSHHhZvr7okgaENsUkfQRsTC50K8gn80/w640-h480/cross%20stitch%206.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I also finished the latest paint by numbers. However, if I don't know what you are talking about I won't argue.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">So today the appliance guy came to look at the fridge. They had called Monday to change my appointment and it worked out better for me. So he came in and asked me what was wrong. I explained and despite the fact his accent was Eastern European and mine is British we managed to understand one another.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">BUT, he then started on about breaker's and trying to say it was my fault/the breakers fault. I do not know diddly squat about breakers. So I was getting confused because, I thought if the breaker was at fault, the fridge wouldn't come back on? I didn't know this for a fact, but thought it would. So he kept talking, so I said this:</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">"My husband is an electrician, I'll call him and you can talk to him, as I know nothing about breaker's."</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">The look on his face at this point, made me realize that he was trying to get out of doing anything!!! He told me that was alright I didn't have to call him; but too late I had dialed the number.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Got hubby on the phone and put him on speaker and said what was going on. Hubby said out loud, "he's trying to get out of doing anything, there is nothing wrong with the breaker!!"</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">His attitude changed then, and I let hubby go as he was at work. He took photos, and said he was going to call KitchenAid for advice to see what they say and get back to me.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I WILL NOT taken advantage of. As I told him it keeps going off, I can't keep much in the fridge and freezer as I have no idea when it might turn off again. When you pay over $5 thousand for a flipping fridge, it had better work!! If it's under warranty, they have to fix it whether they like it or not. I will be sticking to my guns on this as I am now fed up of the whole flipping thing.</span></p>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-40652048521456433172024-03-11T11:31:00.000-04:002024-03-11T11:31:02.367-04:00Temperature cross stitch and catch up<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Here is the latest update on the temperature cross stitch. Last week was way above normal temperatures and other than on Sunday when it was cold and we had a sprinkle of snow, this week is looking warm as well.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIJj2Z0J2ZrJYyIxG5n925dS-0r5L2PaCycA9BCRBJcmPYkHgqcQ-ptYFJQztnmeoJwlIowrD_WEcdifFP95uNwI7dFCV4S6EMdoSrnMIIbDHsanAktD9iQtEIM11nYUp0Cu8-s5A1n7YjiCYODOGiGAcsnlsP0wqn1jLHbUaecZI7h4fWkMXF6LyvUzY/s640/temperature%2015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIJj2Z0J2ZrJYyIxG5n925dS-0r5L2PaCycA9BCRBJcmPYkHgqcQ-ptYFJQztnmeoJwlIowrD_WEcdifFP95uNwI7dFCV4S6EMdoSrnMIIbDHsanAktD9iQtEIM11nYUp0Cu8-s5A1n7YjiCYODOGiGAcsnlsP0wqn1jLHbUaecZI7h4fWkMXF6LyvUzY/w640-h480/temperature%2015.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Last week went by in a flash and honestly I don't feel I achieved a lot, other than booking our vacation.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">This coming week isn't looking a lot better, as I have a busy week ahead of me.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Monday morning started out rough. I HATE the time changes, it messes with my whole body clock. Then when I went into the kitchen the fridge wasn't working. I swore at that point and later on in the morning spent a delightful 45 minutes on the phone trying to get the warranty folk to sort it out. Yes it's still under warranty, it's the circuit board that has gone again; despite the fact it was replaced just before Christmas. The guy is coming out on Wednesday, but he won't do anything as he will have to order parts. Meanwhile my fridge could turn off anytime, so I dare not put a lot in it. Yes, it's bloody annoying 😡</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I had to go to Walmart to the pharmacy as I thought I had "lost" 80 of hubby's pills. I thought I was losing the plot on Friday. Long story short they had shorted me 80 pills, as their inventory was over by 80. I searched high and low for those bloody pills, as you begin to doubt yourself.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">So here I am writing this on Monday lunchtime. I will try and post through the week and more consistently. I will also try and catch up with what is going on in your world. But at this moment I just want to not do anything but read and relax as I feel stressed!!</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Hope you have a relaxing week.</span></p>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-82510669724258188982024-03-10T01:00:00.001-05:002024-03-10T01:00:00.161-05:00Sunday Song<div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Perfect for a funeral.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><iframe frameborder="0" height="270" src="https://youtube.com/embed/W2msh0jut2Y?si=7Vm0Azm5SFdHb_zS" width="480"></iframe></span><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Do you have a song you want played at your funeral?</span></div>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-30955868783587224092024-03-07T01:00:00.001-05:002024-03-07T01:00:00.139-05:00Vacation Booked..........<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We have been humming and haa-ing over where to go for our vacation this year. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Some places that came up were New York State. Close to home and I would love to go to the <a href="https://home.cmog.org/">Corning Museum of Glass</a>. We then thought we would head over to New York for a few days and then cross the border back into Canada and drive home via the lake.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We then took a look at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocean_City,_Maryland">Ocean City, Maryland</a>. However a condo on the beach was flipping expensive, but again it's a place we have never been and there was plenty to do it seemed.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We had the best vacation ever, other than the no-see-ums at the Isle of Palms in South Carolina. Again for the building that we stayed in it was super expensive, but as it was in September 2008, then no doubt the price would go up. You can see <a href="https://thatbritishwoman.blogspot.com/2008/09/couple-of-photos.html">here on this post where we stayed</a>.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We then decided to "look for a place" in the Savannah area as we have never been there before. We checked out places in Hilton Head and Tybee Island. I managed to narrow it down to two places one in Hilton Head and one in Tybee Island. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We have ended up booking a condo with clear ocean views in Tybee Island for 10 days in September. As it is a 16 1/2 hour drive from our home we will drive for around 10 hours the first day and have a shorter drive the second day. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">So have any of you been to Tybee Island? Any places we should or should not go too? We will of course go into Savannah, any places we should go too there?</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">How do you pronounce Tybee by the way? Is it TIE-BEE, or TEE-BEE?</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Are you planning on going away on vacation this year?</span></p>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-72234476774172276282024-03-05T01:00:00.001-05:002024-03-05T01:00:00.143-05:00Redemption Day<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">These past few days Shopper's Drug Mart has had a bonus redemption event on. For 100,000 points instead of getting $100 worth of free product you could get an extra $40, so you could get $140 worth of free product. Hubby had a pile of points, and he never spends them, so I thought I would stock up on a few bits and bobs. This is what I got:</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5Yjmbp-_thyLAOp6VHoOgPFLq_iBFQqBAaHTPrD07iC-Xid5y35iZIvNsBF-EpFO4Lhyphenhyphenk9AuwGzaJUE20ZdNaO-3OmFXvXDvKTaPM-MdyR7FaTqnzS5hdAPU1v0y5il0pW1K9paSZ5h1tJZnq9oEb9R9CK4q2RGHQdb9bPvB2BmKT3n7tKzCM2kNVdiE/s640/SDM%206.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5Yjmbp-_thyLAOp6VHoOgPFLq_iBFQqBAaHTPrD07iC-Xid5y35iZIvNsBF-EpFO4Lhyphenhyphenk9AuwGzaJUE20ZdNaO-3OmFXvXDvKTaPM-MdyR7FaTqnzS5hdAPU1v0y5il0pW1K9paSZ5h1tJZnq9oEb9R9CK4q2RGHQdb9bPvB2BmKT3n7tKzCM2kNVdiE/w640-h480/SDM%206.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoCPYckErFfjc9n_XMCt8ZeyiMvyAp0LRkMfjzHZ6F2brNoWQfsbL-HTsF7nAt_tjS10FjzmWpu96Ayj4iqKkPcjlKcmvcH4reFr5xPA3Y47QeLLqc-4jJdnAu3jkBUAJ0YuaHsXwcBB1aD1n-4EUWRo6jEFsoa0wfC5iUaqp7PJGDn6fnE7RMHEQneoo/s640/SDM%207.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoCPYckErFfjc9n_XMCt8ZeyiMvyAp0LRkMfjzHZ6F2brNoWQfsbL-HTsF7nAt_tjS10FjzmWpu96Ayj4iqKkPcjlKcmvcH4reFr5xPA3Y47QeLLqc-4jJdnAu3jkBUAJ0YuaHsXwcBB1aD1n-4EUWRo6jEFsoa0wfC5iUaqp7PJGDn6fnE7RMHEQneoo/w480-h640/SDM%207.jpg" width="480" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgglnSx2HV3BXl2V6XId0odBFQ_cOdzi7MhAbsLqapbqqrpJKTksdf3Zu6fyLD36I1CSMuv1PL9RPO2F9fBp6z3jOAuH4NSOoKM07ahS0qnahBHOGkFJ_wKisGiruayvXilcVAEKk1nPzLsNuxWBLZ_2GkjzDOmBC-zNjLh3hIjjnopH85kWZSPAzgB-8w/s640/SDM%208.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgglnSx2HV3BXl2V6XId0odBFQ_cOdzi7MhAbsLqapbqqrpJKTksdf3Zu6fyLD36I1CSMuv1PL9RPO2F9fBp6z3jOAuH4NSOoKM07ahS0qnahBHOGkFJ_wKisGiruayvXilcVAEKk1nPzLsNuxWBLZ_2GkjzDOmBC-zNjLh3hIjjnopH85kWZSPAzgB-8w/w640-h480/SDM%208.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">It doesn't look at lot does it? When you think about it, January and February went by quite fast; or at least I thought so?</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We have had some warm weather, but it was interspersed with some cold days. which has resulted in hubby being as sick as a dog and me not feeling great either. I wish the weather would make up it's mind what it's doing. We have actually had temperatures into the double digits.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgazqtK6dFLwoLnfyyY7ix-C6ZQuGZUNeVU6gvWyUl-W6d4ugWW4-bZMZRaqd874F7sKZocAah1Kfbj5U7elRsU93ffWeZfVQDMXL86SjF45SBdpDSduK5U9Sdppi3JOiCYN-WE5Zjc-Omyekv6YbwL-I1zrqmGk2D9AwNwNHKUFwixpDTrXrYPSQn6w8g/s640/temperature%2014.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgazqtK6dFLwoLnfyyY7ix-C6ZQuGZUNeVU6gvWyUl-W6d4ugWW4-bZMZRaqd874F7sKZocAah1Kfbj5U7elRsU93ffWeZfVQDMXL86SjF45SBdpDSduK5U9Sdppi3JOiCYN-WE5Zjc-Omyekv6YbwL-I1zrqmGk2D9AwNwNHKUFwixpDTrXrYPSQn6w8g/w640-h480/temperature%2014.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">As I finished that puzzle I hunted out another paint by numbers I had picked up at Dollarama. When I say numerous probably well over 30 that I have purchased but haven't read yet. So I have decided no more books are coming into the house until I have read the ones I have. There is one exception though and that is the books that my mother is reading in her book club. I will borrow those from the library. I have also decided, if I can't "get into" a book after a few chapters, then I am not going to waste my time trying to read it.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I have three areas/bookcases where I keep books in the house. In the living room I have this cabinet. All are fiction novels in this area.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS7MeanZO8DkzVk6JlqWt08aIkNqwLBxzh5vZZRSmrCfGBWc9zXSBHivkyosef6MPx5gMF4yC-j24UQfQLa53ZqMwMCrQFdKUt9nNywHZy3IPs1yVGWsoh4J-SAt8cFlsdqLTDnOoYEbzY8GG2uEviCVBx_HouZOTputOpLCYj0WVcmuczzW-RLuvdAxY/s640/bookcase%201.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS7MeanZO8DkzVk6JlqWt08aIkNqwLBxzh5vZZRSmrCfGBWc9zXSBHivkyosef6MPx5gMF4yC-j24UQfQLa53ZqMwMCrQFdKUt9nNywHZy3IPs1yVGWsoh4J-SAt8cFlsdqLTDnOoYEbzY8GG2uEviCVBx_HouZOTputOpLCYj0WVcmuczzW-RLuvdAxY/s320/bookcase%201.jpg" width="320" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">In the basement there is this built in unit. Now the only fiction area is the third shelf down on the right hand side. The bottom shelf on the left hand side is all the kids books. I need to clean out that shelf, but waiting another few months until Evan turns 3 and then I'll get rid of the baby books.<br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkjT0ACVJGvPQaSMA6wqWEtT0UgcvlYsexGD6EaPfdQv5ureRdjDRAotlxZ3Z4eoGW5FpSfQitMZHLcbQZ5-Wsb6IWTwyIBITkgeqrAVA6sI1L0LbfAyppWkGgcEnkC8Y5xToTuDtqNiEUl6_zl5Bf6yBBqm7gVjyN0qzvdBImB9ROXPjDry5aioIhvkw/s640/bookcase%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkjT0ACVJGvPQaSMA6wqWEtT0UgcvlYsexGD6EaPfdQv5ureRdjDRAotlxZ3Z4eoGW5FpSfQitMZHLcbQZ5-Wsb6IWTwyIBITkgeqrAVA6sI1L0LbfAyppWkGgcEnkC8Y5xToTuDtqNiEUl6_zl5Bf6yBBqm7gVjyN0qzvdBImB9ROXPjDry5aioIhvkw/s320/bookcase%202.jpg" width="320" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">This bookshelf is in the spare bedroom and holds magazine and cooking and crafting books.<br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOg2jOThfqowBX6cCXVp7zfUa5Ck2I2PO7AYvzQBwd3ixA5g5KBO_J083FyiXh0gc2IKZDG7FS1_iINrXzE9wtNjcvefxRbeeATxrnctfKPw6l9L9lLyqEh5Wt34lDbeFLBanPqWXIkj-Ies7S1pne9DOF2PzZL25KFrTWj1HuVMnpiYLlgLTt_QdYHeQ/s640/bookcase%203.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOg2jOThfqowBX6cCXVp7zfUa5Ck2I2PO7AYvzQBwd3ixA5g5KBO_J083FyiXh0gc2IKZDG7FS1_iINrXzE9wtNjcvefxRbeeATxrnctfKPw6l9L9lLyqEh5Wt34lDbeFLBanPqWXIkj-Ies7S1pne9DOF2PzZL25KFrTWj1HuVMnpiYLlgLTt_QdYHeQ/s320/bookcase%203.jpg" width="240" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I have donated a lot of books and magazines over the past few months. No idea why, but it made for a sluggish Wednesday. Just couldn't get my butt moving. However good jobs were jobbed, so all was not at a loss.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Spent a delightful half hour doing the banking and filling in the figures on the Excel worksheet for February's expenditures. Water bill was up, gas bill was down and hydro bill was up a couple of dollars? With the weather the way it has been this month, I knew the gas bill would be lower. Our gas bill also incorporates the water heater rental as well. We can't get out of it, as we took it on when we bought the house. I was a little surprised at the water bill though, that doesn't make sense, other than it may have been for a slightly longer period of time, we get billed every other month.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">I must say I am liking the fact that I log in this spreadsheet how much we spend, it's giving us an insight into where the money goes etc.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">On Wednesday it was lovely and warm in the morning so I headed out for a walk before it rained.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">We have 600 houses being built in the adjoining land to our subdivision. As I hadn't been walking in a while I was interested to see how fast they are getting one. This photo is taken at the other end of our street. The barriers will be removed eventually and you will be able to drive/walk through. There should be no more traffic past our house, as there are faster ways to exit the subdivision.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">One house on that street is already up for sale, for around $1.2 million which is crazy. It's brand new never been lived it, I am guessing someone bought it too flip?</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrs0p-XuoEpis8YdjDTIVEAHCgiwBbXiIzXpznaMplDho9XNvR1IEMZIhuxXVzlw1N-W116xwKfHf_rDn9Kt0HEiiYDnEpfhVZsJZZlxx_qXGeJ_TtTrfLJkwnWdQsUKAY6OX64sfBfbD_UTkVdNCux8ndIg0WI0_ik9_W0vG6ZfTe64-lSl66rTez0u0/s640/Feb%2028%201.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrs0p-XuoEpis8YdjDTIVEAHCgiwBbXiIzXpznaMplDho9XNvR1IEMZIhuxXVzlw1N-W116xwKfHf_rDn9Kt0HEiiYDnEpfhVZsJZZlxx_qXGeJ_TtTrfLJkwnWdQsUKAY6OX64sfBfbD_UTkVdNCux8ndIg0WI0_ik9_W0vG6ZfTe64-lSl66rTez0u0/w480-h640/Feb%2028%201.jpg" width="480" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Further up the street, these barriers will also be removed eventually and again it will be a through road.<br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmY8R2RIuULB7WHm72-c30unZnKHeZ9_ZhniVonmVjxmTjP6pQj4AkZo67zoXgJfDkSsUqQGFwbrMvFCFwXF9QG1BKI75uyCbTXWZjOEaDG6g-eacQ7gJPpsY2pVyAJw5cX00T5-62FIGlG_WSNc9vdSAoN6Vbgg9EiCUC0VQhkTrMerzuEJewIszVF5o/s640/Feb%2028%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmY8R2RIuULB7WHm72-c30unZnKHeZ9_ZhniVonmVjxmTjP6pQj4AkZo67zoXgJfDkSsUqQGFwbrMvFCFwXF9QG1BKI75uyCbTXWZjOEaDG6g-eacQ7gJPpsY2pVyAJw5cX00T5-62FIGlG_WSNc9vdSAoN6Vbgg9EiCUC0VQhkTrMerzuEJewIszVF5o/w640-h480/Feb%2028%202.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Ran into Pugsy on my walk. The top shelf by my handbags is all hubby's CPAP stuff, and I have yet to have a clean out and organize that, as hubby is getting some updated equipment. So will sort all that out when he gets the new stuff.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">The black handbag is a Coach one, I am going to hopefully sell that one as it is way too big for me now. Plus the bigger the handbag, the more stuff you lug around I find.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Finally, budget. I had originally hoped to do this for around $500. BUT, the original unit I was looking up went off sale and it doubled in price to over $700. So I went with plan B, and bought the units from Ikea, which in fact worked out better with more storage. Although I have given you links to the products I got from Amazon I was able to get both the shoe storage and the dividers at a slightly cheaper price. The baskets from Shopper's were spur of the moment buys, not planned.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">All the supplies for fixing the walls we had on hand, so that was free.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">So all in all I was probably $160 - $175 over budget. Coming in at around $660 - $675 for this. A lot cheaper than having a company come in and it suits our needs exactly.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">So that is one job ticked off the list for this year.</span></div>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-54325013307611274762024-02-26T01:30:00.001-05:002024-02-26T01:30:00.242-05:00Cross Stitch and Puzzle update.........<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Another week and nearly another month over with. I managed to snag a spot again, so that was good. Now I knew from the meeting last month, that the regular woman who runs it was away and another woman was taking over this meeting. So imagine my surprise when I walked in and a young-ish guy was there and was handing out supplies.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Turned out he had drawn the "short straw," and although he is a librarian, he is also an artist on the side. He was a smashing young man originally from Nigeria; but he had such a long name that no one could pronounce in this country so he went by the initials of his name. Unfortunately for him they were very close to be IBM. So all I could think of was IBM, so whenever I asked for him, my mind went automatically to IBM, then I had to think to remember the one initial it wasn't.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">He started handing out supplies, first there was a sheet of legal size paper, then a piece of card stock, then a paintbrush......at this point I asked him are we painting, and he said yes. I said you do realize that I have no talent whatsoever when it comes to painting, and a couple of ladies said they were the same. He said this project was super basic and anyone could do it.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">He handed out kids washable paints and some kids stencils and told us to experiment on the legal size paper. The card stock was to mix our paints on. I just sat there looking like a deer in the headlights........totally and utterly clueless. He then announced we could transfer what we had done onto a 4 inch square piece of plywood/coaster. So I made he give me the coaster, to help visualize the finished product and everyone else wanted theirs as well at that point.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">My stencil was a bee, which turned out to be useless with the brush, so I gave that up pretty soon and my neighbour took it. We fiddled on for a while, then I gave up and did my own thing on the coaster and this is what I did.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtVWimTc83T1xmigk4uVKUWjNB6jC-Q7PQIPg5WrdhuJoqquZHm-wTVoKA74ulE5Gn8BGDiIpw887NPUs-JRmi307DdvtweYzryb5uhWXs8P7C5Q3vE5w0TuQ6G4x1XCAP-vmqWY1pq3Gh6q7Lmlu3-IW_5T6bGYIlQ38z0oNq1CKE9L_SsCrfRDLQFNQ/s640/craft%207.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtVWimTc83T1xmigk4uVKUWjNB6jC-Q7PQIPg5WrdhuJoqquZHm-wTVoKA74ulE5Gn8BGDiIpw887NPUs-JRmi307DdvtweYzryb5uhWXs8P7C5Q3vE5w0TuQ6G4x1XCAP-vmqWY1pq3Gh6q7Lmlu3-IW_5T6bGYIlQ38z0oNq1CKE9L_SsCrfRDLQFNQ/w480-h640/craft%207.jpg" width="480" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">While talking with another lady we got talking about these Tik Tok video's we watch called <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Andrea-Nelson-Art">Andrea Nelson Art</a>, if you click on her name it will take you to her page.</span><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">So mine is sort of inspired by what she does. I LOVE Tupperware. I am not obsessed with it, but do enjoy Tupperware and have been buying it for many years. When I saw this come out I knew I was going to purchase it. One of the upsides to this is that it microwaves popcorn without the need to use oil or butter. So for one portion you need 2 tablespoons of unpopped popcorn, which is around 110 calories.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Another upside it flattens into itself. Taking up less storage space. This is it when collapsed.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWy4gjUOU56DZWhFO0qc4Jx6jkZNIg3yd6SiXfMBJ3AJ4keP83-UNCgJHiL0JNod4F9PJOc3eoB-knel11ZIAiCL66PU5N8Zz4zykts4CSq7Xx_24KXHW7BEX43R-v616R-RIgPGjs1NQGRQkw8ZYr5xaTeZ4kbcxkmGiUH-0Wn5Fbpao8i25dgkxpU00/s640/popcorn%20maker%201.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; font-size: medium;">Now that I have my painting finished, I decided to bring out another puzzle. I got this one for Christmas. To be honest, I think I will be pulling my hair out with this one. All those pinks and purples will make it hard. This also is not my typical type of puzzle, but I am ready for the challenge.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmEB4zr821UvWkMPEhfO03kFFCqyTSfM-YPklkiBziO4RpNJrOkx9khKlgtIqHUoVD9c40mDfiCMN0dmrEALndnWP4niGBOyXqZEwxldTZq1_5VX16KCiZNUfOKsTlLGzEp_UpCIJKtPVYQ5QhaQJkO90EEFANZxiWHdp8yK7SFnDXcxzhqII2alCyKio/s640/flamingo%201.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmEB4zr821UvWkMPEhfO03kFFCqyTSfM-YPklkiBziO4RpNJrOkx9khKlgtIqHUoVD9c40mDfiCMN0dmrEALndnWP4niGBOyXqZEwxldTZq1_5VX16KCiZNUfOKsTlLGzEp_UpCIJKtPVYQ5QhaQJkO90EEFANZxiWHdp8yK7SFnDXcxzhqII2alCyKio/w640-h480/flamingo%201.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Now where the cheating comes in. When I get a puzzle, the first thing I do is separate the edge pieces from the rest of the pieces. Generally when pieces are stuck together like the ones in the photo below I separate them, as I class this as cheating, when I haven't put them together myself.<br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiXSGyKZL-KZSUCgrhfH1jNmFByfq4vawIp86E7I4Egh6MMV0L0wchrNVVtAs3nQrKR3UvbQNJbObzeMB6QufjXewIk0wIex-EC4fv8Th3EQQgDD5N4JP4wMS0MDJm491wB_uTtV6J6haisSyw9DHmPu3GzIFYspAC9SKk_TdYanUErDesifoll0iNJcY/s640/flamingo%202.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiXSGyKZL-KZSUCgrhfH1jNmFByfq4vawIp86E7I4Egh6MMV0L0wchrNVVtAs3nQrKR3UvbQNJbObzeMB6QufjXewIk0wIex-EC4fv8Th3EQQgDD5N4JP4wMS0MDJm491wB_uTtV6J6haisSyw9DHmPu3GzIFYspAC9SKk_TdYanUErDesifoll0iNJcY/w400-h300/flamingo%202.jpg" width="400" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">As I said though, I think I am going to have a witch of a time putting this together anyway. I have set this up on the kitchen table and will pick away at it whenever I have a few minutes. Trying to put together a lot at once isn't my thing.</span><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Do you enjoy doing puzzles? Do you set them up and pick away at them, like I do? What size of puzzle do you like to do? I prefer 1,000 pieces as I can set up everything on the kitchen table. Anything bigger and I am struggling to get all the pieces laid out.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Also a huge thank you for your input on air fryers. I will be honest I am still on the fence about it. Will think about it for a bit longer.<br /></span><p><br /></p></div>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1605129043543619307.post-15743196241222593812024-02-20T01:00:00.001-05:002024-02-20T01:00:00.131-05:00Question for you<p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Do any of you own an Air Fryer? Family members have them and are encouraging me to get one. The two family members love theirs. What is holding me back from getting one is that I use my upper/small oven all the time; it's the perfect size for the two of us. The second thing is space, I don't want any more clutter on the countertop and storage is limited.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">So what are the pro's and cons for you who own one. Also if you have one, what size is it and how many people do you feed? What brand is yours?</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Thanks for your input.</span></p>Gill - That British Womanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.com17
