This has probably happened to you all....

On Thursday I ran outside to bring the dog's blanket in from the washing line.  I popped my crocs on and went flying flat on my back and bopped my head.  Everything was as muddy as heck and as I had not got all the dog poop picked up either there was the odd bit of dog poop amongst the mud.

I have grossed you out yet?  No, well I was covered in mud and probably dog poop from the bottom of my heals to the top of my head on the back of me.  When I realized I was okay to move the thought that then passed through me was that I hope no one is watching, as I then felt like a fool.

There was no chance of anyone seeing me as I was behind the garage.

24 hours later I have a mild case of whiplash on the left side of my neck, it's as stiff as a board, but otherwise I am fine.  Mind you I went and nipped the skin between my thumb and finger and have a blood blister there now!!  I know I am a walking disaster.

We have got rid of a lot of snow with the mild temperatures and the wind.  We should even be able to use the whole driveway by next week, as the last of the snow should be melted.  The garage isn't standing in water anymore.......well not all of it.

I truly think that Spring is just around the corner.  There is signs of life in the garden and I can see them all now that the snow has melted.

Having a busy day today as I am going to Toronto to go bridesmaid's dress shopping with the three bridesmaids, dd and her future mother-in-law, so looking forward to that.  Hopefully I am allowed to tell you all about it.........

Ouch! Hope you are feeling better? You know, we 'oldies' really need to take more care - we just don't realise it!

Feeling a fool is one of the most natural things to experience when you take a fall, but thank goodness you weren't badly hurt. Have a great shopping day.

The other week Jess my dog walked in front of me while we were out taking a stroll-I went flying ! I know that feeling- you pick yourself up ,look round smiling and muttering- no damage to yourself while furtively looking round to see if anyone witnessed your embarrassment before mustering as much dignity as you can to walk away without limping around the next corner -where you finally say ow ! and hug yourself !
Have a brilliant day shopping !x

Glad you are feeling better. Just thank your lucky stars that you didn't break anything and had to wait for someone to find you. That happened to a neighbor of ours.
Have a great day in T.O. and I so hope you can sneak a few lines in about the day.

Spring has sprung here in London, birds are tweeting and the sun is shining.
I'll send it your way ASAP. :-)

Hubby went flying yesterday too. Hit a patch of ice and down he went. Hope you're feeling better quickly. As to spring I'm not sure...we are in for another one tomorrow...rain, freezing rain and snow. Hope it doesn't get to you. Hugs

Oh my gosh, what a yucky accident you had! I never got that dirty wiping out, but I did go running between the paddocks at the stables I got my horseback riding lessons at once, got tripped up by a huge branch that was hidden in the long grass and went flying face first into the ground. It was classic, I winded myself and was also fortunate that no one else was out there to see what had happened.

Have fun dress shopping!!!

Yup, we've all done it. It's like when we trip over something on the sidewalk we always look back and give it a dirty look.

My GF went to David's Bridal last week and they got the dresses and mother of the bride dress. Hoping to see it tonight as we will be attending the Stag and Doe.

Poor you and yes, you are a tad accident prone! I have to confess I laughed when I read this here post and I shouldn't have, sorry. I think it was the way you told it!
Yes, Spring is here, at least in this neck of the woods.

I hope the whiplash is temporary. I've come to the conclusion that no fall is benign...even if the only damage is to the self-esteem. Glad there was a minimum of dog poop, though. Eeew!

Hope your neck feels better by now, if not, try laying on the floor with a towel rolled up under it for about 10 or 15 minutes a few times...
