Today's Flower...

I don't know the name of this flower but it is pretty.  It didn't flower last year, so maybe its a biennial?  Does anyone know it's name?

It has these very large leaves.

Hi Gill,
We have a flower very similar that blooms this time of year but not with those large leaves.
Looks like a lovely bright spot in your garden!

Gill, it is a very pretty flower. Love the bright yellow color. It looks similiar to some wildflowers I see all the time but the leaves are different. Sorry, I can not help with the name.

Gill, I'm no help, but I really love the color of this flower especially this time of year as things are starting to fade.

Hope your weekend is ending on a good note!

I always think the nicest thing about this particular cultivar of ligularia is the flower buds just as they think about opening! Larry
