Today's Flower......
This is the first time I have grown Dahlia's, and it won't be my last, as they are super simple to grow. I have always admired them, as my uncle in Britain always grew them; and he was always bringing home bunches for my aunts house.

These are gorgeous close-ups, Gil. The white dahlias look like starbursts.
We don't generally plant these, but this year did have a pretty red one. Love the multi petals.
How lovely Gill, Dahlias were always in my Dad's garden too. Great photos! I also loved your adorable header photo. Molly's little friend?
Have a great week.

They are beautiful indeed. My Dad has them and they can be as tall as I am:))
They're such lovely flowers and so easy to grow (though tricky to sustain).
We share the same passion for Dahlias. I love them, but slugs love them too.
Very pretty flowers and great pictures!!
I've never tried them, but they certainly are beautiful.
I've never grown Dahlia's either..maybe I'll give them a go next year :)
I absolutely love dahlias. Their blooms looks as thought they are sculpted from wax! Don't you have to dig up the bulbs every winter? ~karen
Gorgeous Dahlias Gill.
Happy new week.
Truly scrumptious Gill. I love them too, even the ear-wiggy ones. They are excellent for cutting and so perfectly formed that I'm sure God must have put them in his own garden, right at the front!
Blessings, Star
