We have had some freaky weather, the last couple of days (I am writing this on Sunday 28th) has been warm and wet. Which is actually a good thing, as at least it has melted the snow before we get the next round of snow, because there is one thing that is guaranteed around here, is that it will snow again.

I'm glad some of that snow disappeared. Sometimes up there, you can forget what grass looks like. (I lived in Toronto and St. Paul for about 10 years total.)
We, in Nottingham are lucky if we get just a few hours of snow a year now, abit different from 20 years ago I'm told.

What a difference a week makes. Hopefully the next round of snow won't be quite as bad as the first.
Wow,, it kind of does that here too. The pic with the snow plow looking down the street. I can just feel the quiet, peaceful, silent that a big snow fall will bring. I don't like dealing with the snow but I love the sound. Have a good day and run get your milk and bread now.

If we got snow like that the whole country would grind to a complete halt
We had the big melt down too. Now I see the yard where the pooch has left his bombs and the wind has blown down a tree. It helps the hospice nurse immensely to have no ruts to get stuck in while driving. Last week was a mess. I got stuck twice. I need a 4WD vehicle if I'm going to keep doing this job!
I know! My goodness! It's all gone. Even the six-foot high piles at the edges of our driveways are gone! This is so much better than the ice-topped stuff we did have. ugh! All that rain, I was sure we'd need ice skates to get to our cars!
