Could you Survive Another Great Depression Quiz

I popped over to Quasimodo's blog and she had this quiz on her blog.

You Are 61% Likely to Survive Another Great Depression
Even though you may not be expecting the worst, you're the type of person who prepares for the worst.
You live a relatively modest life. You don't overspend, and you aren't very materialistic.

You are also quite self sufficient and independent. You have many useful skills.
You can take care of yourself and those you love... which is crucial to surviving another Great Depression.

Could You Survive Another Great Depression?

This is actually interesting, I actually did better than I thought I would. How did you do?

Linda,

I scored 61% but feel I could improve on that.

I got a 78% - but could still improve in some areas. Let's hope this doesn't happen!

Interesting quiz. I got 68%, which still isn't all that good. I guess we'll just have to hope there isn't another Great Depression.

I got 66%. Looks like I still have some way to go.

Gill is this relevant to Canada?
I started to do this then realised I couldn't answer a few of the questions, it isn't geared to the UK.

Guns? What's that all about? Most of have never seen a gun and don't want to.

Can I light a fire? Yes but only in the garden. It's illegal to do this in the house, most of us now live in smokefree zones.

Health questions too are a bit iffy.

So I gave up. It did make me think though. Maybe I need to get an allotment or get rid of the lawn! I did get my free bus pass to cut down on using the car. Roll on summer when I'll be all over the place on free public transport!

this is originally from the United States, where gun ownership is the norm. In Canada it is not as common to own a gun, unless its for hunting, or because you belong to a gun club, that sort of thing.

I got a 70%. I think I would have gotten more if I still had my guns.

I got 63% which astonished me! I thought I would get about 3%

I got 56% because I answered honestly and not what I'm capable of actually doing. My work is an issue because I travel about 60 to 100 miles a day seeing patients-that's insane, but they do pay my mileage.

We have a gun only because my husband works for the government and is required to carry a weapon. Otherwise, I find myself wondering just who I'd slice with my fine collection of Global butcher knives-it makes me queasy to carve a turkey for God's sake. I do have a big enough yard to feed myself from but, I can only grow things from may to october.

As long as nobody takes my yarn, I'll do fine. I CAN knit in the dark.

I did slightly worse than Rudee, 53 percent. not really a fair quiz as in Canada the cost of living makes it hard to save from our very small paychecks. also we live in the country so have to drive everywhere. I have CC debt from years ago but no new debt. I know i am whining and disappointed in myself. I could survive a depression because I have the knowledge and know how to do so.
I though hunting rifles counted as guns?

I think I meant I did the same as Gill. You did good Tania.

Gill I have tagged you for a reading meme!
