This week, the Today's Flower team wanted a Christmas theme. As I had already posted photos of my Christmas Cactus and Poinsettia today (prior post) I thought I would do something different, that says Christmas.
The first post is of my Poinsettia place mats, that I use on my living room coffee table.
Again more poinsettias this time on my kitchen table cloth, that my mother gave me, first a close up:
Now the whole tablecloth:
Then I know this is not a flower, but it says Christmas.
As always, click on the photos for more details. For more of Today's Flower photos, please click on this link
(look for more snow/winter photos tomorrow)

Hello,
Poinsettia is my favorite Christmas flower and yours are great, placemats just lovely all ready for guests. I'm here too in the Snow. Brrrr.
I think you've done a good job of combining Christmas and flowers. Thanks for including the last picture -- it is definitely 'Christmasy'!
Wonderful decorations and I dearly love the snow covered tree, it does say Christmas.
I love your placemats and coasters. Your tablecloths are also very pretty! Thanks for your visit. Happy holiday!
I am jealous of that white stuff on your trees
Love your poinsettias.
I have not always been a fan of them, but they are beginning to grow on me.
the tablecloth with the poinsettia edges is beautiful...just beautiful.

I love that tablecloth! Are the poinsettias embroidered, or crocheted? Or made with some other method?
Thanks for sharing!

Nice one Gill!
Love your Christmas cloth, if My World is on this week, I'll be posting mine there.
Now if I had snow like that, I'd be out there making snow sculptures. When we lived in Montreal I made A whole family 12 foot tall in our front yard.
Happy snowplowing!
Gill: What a neat post for Christmas.
Good idea, we don't have a lot of flowers to show in this season !
