I have gone and hurt my back (you'll read more about that on Saturday), so I am having to take it easy today. So I decided I would make the produce bags that I had promised Rachel a while back.
Here is the larger one, its made out of pink organza with pink stitching and beige binding.

The small one was made out of bright yellow tulle with blue stitching and binding:

Wow, you've really made some gorgeous produce bags. Mine are totally plain in comparison.
And here's a late Happy Canada Day for you.

Thanks for the Canada Day wishes.
These are great! I've been making canvas shopping totes, but I have not taken the plunge on the produce bags. Now I'm looking forward to trying out something like this (someday...) Oh, the inspiration in blog land is staggering.
And thanks for stopping by my blog! Always fun to meet new folks.
Oops...I didn't sign out of my daughter's account...that last comment was from me.

Lovely bags, Gill. I am going to bookmark your blog!
Mary:)
those bags are NICE; do you have a suggestion for a site on how-to-do-it-myself??
thanks for stopping by my blog, yours is great, and the links look interesting, too. we're not exactly homesteading, but we're a tad rusticated . . .

Hi Gill, Thanks for visiting my blog. Keep checking back to see my progress on my UFOs. I noticed you have recipes on your blog; that's fantastic! One question: do you have a recipe for sticky toffee pudding?
Had some last summer while in England and enjoyed it very much.
Hope you feel better soon! Cheers QGB
Thanks for the recipe link Gill. I didn't realize it has dates in it. Are there many variations of this dessert? cheers QGB
