Last month I sold the rug from our living room, this one:
So I decided to get a new one and got the one below (not our living room).
It's perfect for the living room and it brightens up the room also.
It's this one from Wayfair. It comes in various colours. I also put this underpad under it.
Super happy with it, and having that underpad under it, makes it very soft to walk on.

Lovely! I can see how it would make the room lighter.
It looks great and such a pretty pattern. We have carpet in most of our rooms and the only rug we have is a small one in front of the bathroom sink. They aren't safe in our household because the RC drags his feet and easily trips on things now so even the little one in the bathroom might be on the way out before too long.
