Clarkson's Farm

Have you watched this series?  It is on Amazon Prime.  I found it pretty funny and something that was light hearted and not too serious.  Although farming is serious business for those whose livelihoods depend  on the success or failure of the harvests/crops, etc.

My favourite person in the series has to be Gerald.  I have no idea what he has to say most of the time, but his interaction with Jeremy is funny.  A lot of people seem to dislike Jeremy Clarkson; I am on the fence.  Kaleb is wise beyond his years and I hope this show doesn't spoil his attitude too much.

I am looking forward to the second series, but not sure if it'll be as good as the first.

I watched it recently and was really surprised. I'm not a huge fan of Jeremy Clarkson, but I found this show quite charming and certainly showed another side to him in his endeavours to actually make this work. It was also a sobering look at just how tough it is to farm for a living and something we all need to think about as we often have a tendency to take the food we eat for granted.

We adored Caleb - what a delightful, grounded, straight talking young man. He has such drive, energy, knowledge and he did not let Clarkson get away with anything dodgy. It was a great show and I can see why it was renewed for a second series. Like you, I hope that it retains its charm.

I am addicted to this series. As a former farmer, I can relate to many of their challenges. Other details have me shaking my head...how many thousands of acres and managers does he have? The regulations and bureaucracy is mind boggling!

I have seen it when I check out Prime, now I just may have to watch it after I finish the highway police series I am watching on BritBox.

God bless.

Nope, never heard of it. Can't stand Clarkson so doubt if it would get an airing.

Yes, I have watched some of Clarkson's farm...I watched Top Gear with my son-in-law so I am a fan of Clarkson. I don't really know anything about him other than having watched him on these two shows. I find some of this hilarious. Loved when he was installing the electric fence.
