Got all the gnomes done for Our Little Man's birthday party. Here they are all lined up ready to go:
I then made a gnome and baby hat set for a couple who are expecting in January and are going to the party.
I used a different yarn for the set and as they are not going to find out the sex of the baby, I thought the colour was appropriate for both a boy or girl. I would love to make this is a variegated grey yarn.
So far I have five babies and a wedding in the first four months of 2016. So more baby gift sets and a baby quilt to make. Better make a start on them!

You best get going on that! I have begun sewing new skirts for my grandgirls. Good to have such projects, while hubby watches his tennis!
There must be something in the water, all these new babies....
You are so crafty Gill. The gnomes are adorable!
Good thing you learned how to knit and have now been making lots of lovely gifts. Sounds like 2016 will be a busy start for you.
You must be able to knit those gnomes in your sleep by now, lol
They are really cute! Love the new baby gift too.
that's a lot, i just have one
How cute!!! Lucky baby
You're going to be a professional at those gnomes. Your little baby set is darling and I'm sure will be much appreciated by the new parents. That's a lot of babies coming up very quickly. It'll keep your hands busy for sure. Blessings,
Betsy
Oh, my goodness, Gill--that many in the first 4 months of 2016! That is a lot of gifts to make or buy.
You sure have made a lot of these little gnomes. You ought to make one for yourself and take it everywhere you go, and photograph it. Like they did Flat Stanley. Do you remember him? At least I think it was Flat Stanley...I need to go look that up!
That's definitely keeping you busy!
You are getting very proficient at making those gnomes. Love the colours and the gnome that can be used as a gift be the expected miracle a boy or girl.
God bless.

So beautiful and fun! That is one talent I don't have (among many)!

You are the fastest gnome knitter EVER!
Oh so many gnomes! Great job Gill...
My goodness, you are a fabulous Grandmother. My husband and i were just discussing how many Grandmothers would go to this amount of effort these days. I know a few magic ones like yourself but i also know a few so self involved they wouldnt even know it was their grandchildren's birthday. Sad but true. I hope, one day, to be like you.
Oh, how sweet they look! :)
