A hat for Yarn Along

I have another small finish this week this hat and for once I had a lovely little model:

I knit it with a Lorna's Lace sock yarn. Angie at The Knitting Basket gave me an "opened" skein of yarn.  However as I can't knit socks I decided to knit a hat using my favourite pattern for the store and have another one on my needles for my little model!!
I have read two books this week.  I have yet to post my review:

I did post the list of books we are going to read over the next year at our book club here, if you want to take a look?

I love the new hat and the model is beautiful too!
I have not read a book fully for probably six weeks since we started renovations. Hopefully soon I will be able to sit and read for more than ten minutes at a time.
Have a great day!

Hi Gill! I made a hat, too! It went so smoothly and turned out well. I look weird in hats, but if I'm cold enough, I'll wear it.
That is a lovely little hat and an even lovelier model!

Gorgeous hat and sweet little model! Love all the yarn colours. I will have to use your book club list as a reading list too. I have read a few, but not many and they all look great.

What a cute hat--on such a cute model!

I now have access to two digital libraries and I went and check the one for The Vagrants and it had it...I have it on my kindle, but won't get to read it for a while as I have another one I just started. So, far, I usually like what you like...that I have read anyway. Now want to see if I feel the same as you about this book.

I know I got a book once..PAID for it even...it had a lot of good reviews. and to me it was just a pile of words all run together. I did not finish it. I think I read a hundred pages and didn't like it any better by then and thought why waste my time.

Good going on the books this week, i'm way behind with my reading, i'm falling into bed too tired to read lately, not like me at all.
