We still have a lot of snow, but there are bare patches also finally!! I was able to go out without a coat on just my sweatshirt which was good.
I am hobbling around again with very, very sore feet. My right foot is really bad. Bought a pair of Birkenstocks to see if that will help yesterday. I guess time will tell. Gosh they are really sore though. If it doesn't get any better I think a trip to the doctors will be in order. I am going to try freezing a bottle of water and rolling my foot over it a few times a day to see if that helps, plus doing some calf exercises.
I wrote another book review about the book "Call the Midwife: Shadows of the Workhouse," by Jennifer Worth. If you watched the series this is well worth the read. Even if you didn't this book is very interesting and makes you appreciate what you have!!!

I've been having foot problems recently, clearly not as serious as yours but it's just awful isn't it? Makes you feel OLD! I do hope yours feel better soon Gill. x
Oh you poor thing ! Maybe a home foot spa would help the ones that help the muscles as well by sending small pulses through your feet and legs to stimulate the blood flow . I do hope the Dr's can do something for you so you can get back on your feet with out pain ! Oh I loved that series Call the Midwife . Spring is showing it's self now more and more as the night temps have only been 0 and not below and the day time high today here is to hit +8 and get warmer as the week goes on , we have no snow left . Gill, I sure hope you don't have PLANTAR FASCIITIS. I thought my foot would never get better. The Birks should do the trick. I had to start wearing a pair of shoes in the house with my orthotics in them. They are calling for snow again tomorrow here.
I guess most people would consider our weather here in Las Vegas summer weather as it is now near 80 degrees every day (lots of people in shorts and tank tops!). Of course our family in the northeast would beg to differ as they still have snow on the ground (don't worry I will be whining about the excessively hot 110 degree days soon enough!).
I have a pair of Birks and LOVE them!! I could wear them morning, noon & night! lol! Hope they help your feet.
I really hope you get some relief with your feet....that would be pretty miserable to have feet problems.

Foot trouble sucks; I hope you see an improvement soon! We had snow twice last week here in NS; not spring-like at all.
