Hi Gill , Bio-oil works wonders on helping scars to heal and fade .
Not sure if you can get it over there or not, but if you want some , let me know and I'll post you some out .X

Had both done (not at same time) - it is a painful operation but the inconvenience was more of an issue for myself.

Also had both thumb 'hinge joints' replaced and a wrist reconstructed - that's a more painful process.

Looks like you are well and truly on the mend, Gill.

Looks as if it is healing nicely, give it a couple of weeks and you should almost be as good as new.

It isn't gross looking but it looks very tender. Just take it easy for a bit longer.
