Thank you for all your get well wishes.............

I took your advise and took it easy on Thursday.  I took your recommended medicine of Quality Street and rest.  Though I think I may have over dosed on the old Quality Street, but figured I would better take more than the recommended dose so it would help the pain.  I spent the day watching the Food Network and doing a puzzle.

The spasms have stopped, it's just aches like crazy.  I think I will still be careful today and keep taking my "medicine!"

Can't believe we are on the last day of the 2010, it doesn't seem like long ago since we were just seeing 2010 in.  I don't think we will see the new year in, we never normally do.  We may go out for dinner but have no definite plans.

What are your plans for New Years Eve?

Quiet night at home - if the younger neighbours allow - as Rhonda has to be up at 5.00 for a Morning shift at the hospital.

Just taking it easy here...no big plans for the New Year. We may watch a movie and male a favorite meal.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year and that your back heals sooner than later!

Spending the day with a friend I've known since we were four. Going to see a matinee movie "The King's Speech", go out for lunch, shop, then spend the evening in at hers, with her hubby and two teenage daughters. My own hubby will be working, poor lad.

Happy New Year Gill, to you and yours, and all of your blog followers. Wishing you all Health, Happiness and Prosperity :)

A quiet night with a special meal (which means a meal with a starter AND a pudding). We will record Gareth Malone at Glyndbourne (guy who makes choirs out of the unlikely)which is on TVO and we will watch it tomorrow.
Glad to hear your back is a bit better.
Peace love and happiness for 2011.
God Bless.

Oh no, Gill, just read your previous post. Very sorry about your poor back. If it helps I was in DC yesterday and my foot caught on a step and I landed badly on my knees, missed my face thank goodness but the knees I had hurt the previous week when I fell in the basement. I have more bruises to add to the fading bruises. I think my Dad would have said "born awkward". Feel better soon and Happy New Year!!!

I'm glad you're doing better today! As for New Year's plans, I'm heading out with my grandparents for the afternoon and evening and will see in the New Year with a glass of black current liqueur, perhaps while watching a movie. That's what I did last year and I found it just lovely...although I was drinking beer in a champagne flute and not black current liqueur. What can I say, it must have been the French Canadian in me coming out ;o)
