I went into a couple of stores on Wednesday to see not only did they have all their Fall decorations out, but the Halloween ones as well. Plus in Michael's there was even a shelving unit of Christmas stuff. Now if that wasn't bad enough, on the way home, I passed a pick up truck with a snow plow on it's front.
I remember checking the weather forecast that morning, and I don't remember seeing snow in the forecast? I wonder if they know something I don't know?
Had a super busy day shopping......thanks goodness I worked the last couple of weeks, to pay for what I bought!! I got the paint for bathroom. I picked up the closet organizers. Had a good look around Homesense and Michael's. Went into Home Depot, Rona and Lowes looking for some wood trim for the baseboards, and couldn't find any to match the one dh wants.
Manged to get home by just after 2:30pm. I had put a large load of laundry out before I left and I had all that to iron........where is that ironing fairy when you need it???
After supper I tackled Kamikaze Hill and got half of it cut. By then I was pooped. So all in all it was a crazy day.........
Let's hope Thursday is a quieter day!!

Thursday is my day off. I'd be glad to share it with you! But if you find the ironing fairy, ask her if she does dishes, too. I'm still trying to recover from the weekend. It would help if the whole crew just stopped eating for a day or two!
Know your house is going to be so lovely when everything is all fixed up. You'll enjoy it so much! Molly will be so proud.

Hi Gill! We had a paitent in my office yesterday that works for Costco and she was telling me that they have Christmas things out already too--We agreed that this was for the people who already had their Christmas shopping done!
girl, do you know what a day off is? But I'm sure you know your limitations! Or your body will tell ya! I am a nurse of course!
I think it's a case of sell, sell, sell! Times are tough - even for the big guys, I guess.
Oh No! That's the first time I've heard the dreaded C word! Not yet surely! xxx
Gill,
We haven't put the gas stabilizer in the snow blower yet. Hubby's job this weekend, along with trying to work on the Gazebo.
I was also in Michaels last week but they didn't have any Fall stuff out yet. Probably all decked out now. I may check it out this weekend. Christmas!! I'm closing my eyes and pretending you didn't blog that word in your post.
Big Metier shower tonight, if you have a chance to be outside look North East and watch the show.
You may be far enough away from any light pollution to really see it.
A crazy day indeed! I hope today was quieter!
As for your concern...I find it disgusting how early they put out the Christmas stuff. I mean, seriously! They put it out the day after Halloween here in full force and inch it in months before that! It's awful and it's all in hopes that people will buy more, more, more! All it does is turn me off.
I hope there isn't going to be snow soon! Hopefully, the plow was just for decoration.
Nothing like the stores pushing the thought of Christmas into kids minds earlier and earlier, barely getting getting over one Christmas before thoughts of the next lot of presents emerges. Thanks for that consumer society!
the sears christmas catalogue comes earlier and earlier, we used to get it in October growing up. i am not ready for "C" yet,
