This photo was taken back in September of 2006 in the middle of Dollywood. We have been there a couple of times and just love it. We go to see the shows, we're don't go on the rides and we have a super time. The group The Kingdom Heirs play there and they are super. If you are in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area of Tennessee, you should spend a day at Dollywood, it is well worth while.

I think Dolly's the bees knees but I wonder if I'd feel the same seeing her in the flesh, so to speak. First thing in the morning would be interesting!
Have a good New Year.
Just wanted to say happy new year Gill, I hope it's not too cold and snowy to be enjoyed :)
Definitely doesn't look like MY neighbourhood. LOL
This definitely looks like a place my daughter would enjoy! Great fountain.
Beautiful play of water in that fountain! Terrific shot!
It seems a lovely place. Nice shot.
Just come by to say that I have enjoyed reading your blog during 2008 and to wish you a Happy New Year.
Beautiful fountain, my MIL went to Dolly's and just loved it.
Dollywood is a nice place to see. Nice fountain photo.

P.S. I would like to be in your savings club. I'll be posting and linking back to you. I save my change all year anyway, this will help to save more of it.
What a great choice, I love fountains but the fern in the bottom of this one gives it just enough contrast!
I haven't heard anything about Dollywood in a while. One of these days it would be fun to ge to go. :-)
Nice photo.
Have a lovely year in 2009 Gill.
Hi Gill,

Happy New Yr.
Blessins',Lib
Gill, I'm glad you like Dollywood -- that's in our part of the country. Let us know the next time you're down here!
Thanks for a beautiful picture.
Love this fountain. Glad you have such a good time.
Gill, I hate to admit it --but living so close, I have never been to Dollywood. I always wanted to go especially during Christmas since the lights there and around Gatlinburg are gorgeous. We've seen the Gatlinburg lights --but not Dollywood..
Happy New Year.
Hugs,
Betsy
Hi Gill, just stopping by to wish you the happiest of New Years.
I never much see suh lovely fountains here :D All lakes and natural bodies of water...so thank you that Im reminded how beautiful fountains could be!
I love fountains..there is something so beautiful and relaxing about them...Happy New Year
I guess I am totally out of it. Is Dollywood refer to Dolly Parton's home? If it is, I am sure it is totally worth visiting, because she is quite the positive and uplifting character.
Happy New Year's Day
