This will be our third time we have been. Never been on a Sunday before, we usually go on a Saturday......but we were busy on Saturday. This year only me , dd and our neighbour "R" went. Both dd and "R" have a lot more energy than me, so I generally stand in the long line ups and dd and "R" run around getting more freebies.
It cost us $11.50 to get in and $15 for parking. However this is what we got:
The freebies were not as good as prior years, but still well worth it. There was also so much food that we didn't have to buy anything to eat or drink. I did spend $8 to get a years subscription the Canadian Health and Lifestyle magazine you also get a bag full of freebies with the magazine, including a $5 gift card for Boston Pizza which was good. We also got a years subscription for Viva Magazine for free.
We got all sorts of other freebies as well. The best thing about the whole day was spending time with "R" and dd.
I am a British born, living in Canada since May of 1989. My blog is about all aspects of my daily life.

I didn't even know there was a Woman's Show here in Toronto! Ah, well -- I went to the York Heritage quilt show instead. :-) No freebies, but tons of creative inspiration.
I love the Women's show! I ran an information booth there when I was in college!
Isn't the free stuff great?!
Hi Gill,
Looks like alot of goodies there!;o)
HAve a great day!
Blessins',Lib
Wow! That sounds like fun...and looks like you won't have to buy razors for a while!
The main thing was, you had fun. Also nice to get some freebies. Have a great week.
Looks like you had a good time.
Did you meet Mr Geography the Toronto taxi driver? I heard him recently on Radio 2. He's an expert on geography and if you take his taxi and answer any question he gives you correctly, you get a free taxi ride. He sounded so interesting on the telephone interview.
Ooh Triscuits. My fave!
No Winifred, the taxi cab driver wasn't there. Thanks again for all the lovely comments........

Wow, you girls got quite the load there...as for my milk glass...it is quite old. I find it at flea markets and sometimes thrift shops, although that is getting harder to do nowadays, and I have also found a few pieces that were not a bad price at antique stores. The reproduction stuff is just not the same.
Please stop by, I have something waiting for you. :)
How about telling the Woman's Show to come to California, specifically the Bay Area...lol That's seems like so much fun. I'll take that razor on the table too.
Great freebies - and you had a fun day out too.
A x
I've never seen anything like this down here before. Maybe I should start paying more attention but I think if there had been I would have heard about it somehow. We have an expo a couple of miles away that has all kinds of different shows there. Hopefully one of these will turn up one day.
