These photos were taken back on the 10th of October, I loved the colour combination.
Now a gripe/whine these flowers are planted in planters in front of our newest recreation centre, which opened on September 13th. Did you notice all the green "plants" in these planters..........WEEDS!!!!! It's all well and good planting all these lovely flowers, but you have to weed them every now and then!!!! I have called the parks and rec. department to tell them all about the weeds....of course nothing has been done.
The flowers however are very pretty despite the weeds.

Hi Gill, thanks for the welcome back. It is good to be here visiting and enjoying your posts. Love the flowers at your recreation center.
Hi, The colours are strong and gorgous. Yes, weeds they grow everywhere!
My TDF are on "Three Monkeys".
They're mums, aren't they? Autumn flowers adorn our hearts!
Yes, they are gorgeous! I love the red and green!
Love your blog Gill, as always please drop by and collect the award I've presented you.

I thought they were a type of conifer!
The flowers are lovely anyway.
Beautiful!
Nice contrast.
Gill: Those are great flowers. The (weeds) were probably flowering before the frost.
Very beautiful! Do you often visit England?
Are those mums or paquerettes? Im not sure they could mean the same =D Nonetheless, they are lovely and have great contrast. Have a nice week!
pretty even with the weeds!
I don't mind the green underground ;-)
That green "plants" all colour to that landscape.
That why they didn't respond to your complaint.
I love the colors together.

Very beautiful! Thanks for your visit and comment on my blog. :)
Hi Gill...my weekly visit...I actually can't believe that those flowers are still there, here in Canada on October 10...I heard there was a bad storm in eastern Canada...here in Calgary we have NO snow and are still basking in 15 Celcius weather...I can't believe it. It's great for us runners - I so hate running when it's like -10.
wow! what a beautiful mums, I love it!!
Beautiful flowers! Lovely colours too!~
Mine is up too, HERE. If you get a chance;) Happy TF!~
Hello Gill
Yes they look like Chryssies - nice bright ones not the dark maroon ones.
Thats the flower we use down here for Mothers Day in May
Not sure about the weeds - any idea what they actually were?
Take care
Cathy
