Sew-along

I mentioned in an earlier post I was going to participate in my first ever Christmas Cross Stitch sew-along.

Last week the designer released the first part of the puzzle and it was the border pattern of the finished piece.  I actually thought that was odd,  but what do I know?

I had a busy week with other things, so I only managed to get what I did below done.  However, I did manage to get the sections done which will be helpful.
So this week she released the first section, which is the middle section.  I have high hopes I will have time to get this completely done in the week.

Well done for taking on this project - it will be beautiful. But DO NOT BEAT YOURSELF UP IF YOU GET BEHIND!! I did an Advent project last year, which had a small DAILY pattern for 24 days. I did finish it, the day after Boxing Day - but I am so pleased with it. It was worth persevering. And starting with the borders and section edges seems dull - but it ensures everything goes into the right place at the end. I look forward to seeing how it goes for you 💜 🧵

From what I can see from the pattern you've shown, it's going to be amazing when it's done.
