Christmas SAL

Another week done with the Cross Stitch Sew Along.

Isn't he cute?  I am just loving the colours.

I didn't get much done on the border this week, and next week will be super busy.
This week's section, which will go to the right of the Santa.  Looks pretty simple and straight forward.
I know I have said this before, but I am loving how simple this is and the colours she chose.  This would be perfect for a beginner as there are no half stitches and no outlining.  Also each section could be used on it's own for ornaments, bookmarks etc.

Hi there. I popped over from I.Am.Mental's page. I was immediately drawn in by your cross stitch. You are right, the colors are yummy. I like the ombre look. I belong to a sewing group that meets weekly. We all do some hand sewing and chat for 3 hours. I look forward to our afternoons. Several of the ladies work on cross-stitch.

This is getting cuter with each addition!

So many people out there with more attention span than I have. I can admire, can't do the work. :) I'm a 'get this done in one quick session' person. Except for painting. I work a long time on paintings.

So pretty. I know the outlining can take almost as long as the project cross stitch. Well it does on those things I have done. They would make perfect ornaments.

God bless.

New set up on the hall table......

I have had the bottle brush trees for a while now.  I decided to add the tray as a new thing. I purchased the tray from Ikea, it's this ...
