As you know I am a member of Swagbucks and every day they have a Daily Poll which you get a Swagbuck for if you answer it. Saturday's question was a very thought provoking question that I thought was a really good one.
If upon your death, you had to choose between re-experiencing your life with greater understanding or experiencing a completely different life...
I chose re-experiencing my life as that way I already had knowledge of my life but I could correct my mistakes as I go along. If I chose a different life, although I would experience different adventures I may not meet my dh again or have my children again and I wouldn't want to miss that for the world.
Got a second viewing on the house this morning, so fingers crossed it goes well.
Meanwhile you can click here to see a virtual tour of our house.

I would choose a new life
Correcting your mistakes after the first dozen would get dreadfully boring
Saw this on John's blog...I would re-do the past eight years. I know that's not an option. Instead of living in The Sticks, I'd live in small city. With a university...
I would choose the same as you - if I lived a whole new life, I wouldn't be "me" any more!
Your home is stunning and the next owners will be lucky to have it (and the benefit of all your hard work).
I wouldn't change my life for anything in the world. Any mistakes I have made I have learned from them and they haven't been too bad really. Interesting post Gill. Good luck with the viewing. Thanks for stopping by and have a good one. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
I agree with Denise in the above comment.
I thoroughly enjoyed the virtual tour of your home. Everything looks marvelous. I hope the showing goes very well.
I don't know, I might try a completely different life if given the chance - why not?
Your home - GORGEOUS!!
I'd do my same life over.

If I changed my life and corrected mistakes, it wouldn't take me to where I am today, and I may not have met dh or have our son. So...neither one! Saw the tour on FB....fabulous!

You have a gorgeous home! I am sure you will sell it fast.
That question is tough to answer. I sometimes dream about going back to the past and correcting my mistakes but knowing some things will inevitably happen no matter what makes me think twice. For instance, I lost my dad back in 1994. Thinking about experiencing the same loss... I don't know...
I looked at the pictures of your home Gill. It is absolutely stunning. I am sure someone will fall in love with it shortly. Good Luck!
I'd do the same as you too.
Taken the virtual house tour, its wonderful!
Gill,
Same life. I'm happy and love my life so why change for something that may be hell.
Your house shows beautifully!
All the wood work is definitely my style of home. The floors are also gorgeous. You and Hubby have done so much to this house since you bought it. Well worth the valve for the money.
I'm hoping all your hard work pays off soon with a SOLD sign.
Take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
I would choose a different life, our mistakes help make who we are. By changing them we become different people and then even though we will have the same persons in our life, we may not interact with them the same. We may even lose them and I don't think I could deal with that. So a different life I think would be a better option.
No new life for me, sometimes it seems like a new life each day as some new experiance good or bad seems to coe our way. LOVE, love, love you home!! What a beautifu; place to kick up your heels. Good luck on the sale
It's a difficult question. I don't know if I'd want to go back into my life as it was.
I would do my life over and I there are only a couple of things I would change. BTW -- I would buy your house in a heartbeat but ...ALL THAT SNOW!!!! It is a great house though and I could be very comfortable there.
Loved taking the virtual tour! I like your home a lot and know the right buyer will find it soon.
Gill, your home is really beautiful! You know how you show those homes and condos and cottages on Friday...I like your home better than any one of those I ever saw!
As for the question, I really would not want to do either...but, if I had to choose, would probably do as you cause I cannot imagine life without my family.
Oh, I put pics of Lorelei up on Pics & Pieces...she turned 5 over the weekend.
