Don't think Spring is here yet, do you?

Took these photos on Friday morning all in my car.......if you think I was getting out you had another thing coming, it was freezing cold, temperatures in the minus 20's.  It may not look it but it was cold.

This is the snow banks on the side of the road coming into our subdivision taken out of the passenger side window:

Another shot taken from the front window of the car of those same snow banks.
The golf shop/booking place/where you start off from when playing golf???
The 9th hole......I know how on earth do I know these things???
 The 8th hole.....
The 8th hole is to the left of the photo and where you tee off is the the right.........okay this is freaky how do I know the words tee off???
Slightly different angle but the same as the one above.
Suffice to say no one will be playing golf any time soon, if these photos are anything to go by.  I have a feeling the course opens in May?  But I could and probably am wrong.

Do you think secretly way deep down in the recesses of my brain I actually want to play golf????  I hope not as I have better things to do than hit a small ball, and no doubt lose it half a dozen times in a day around a pile of grass.

Last day of February today, good!

We have crocuses blooming and the Forsythia is getting ready to burst forth. But I am still waiting fir winter to hit. It has snuck up on us before.

Golf is just a way to ruin a perfectly good walk imo.

Doubt you want to play it, but you do live in close proximity to it... it's osmosis y'know!

I do something similar with football. I think I just absorb the lingo from hubby and his mates and it hides in my brain somewhere

Lol I think stuff just rubs off from those around us. Not to worry it looks do pretty in your part of the world. We are still sweltering in the heat. I rally am a winter girl. I love snuggling under quilts and drinking hot chocolate. So over all this hot weather

Spring is springing here in Wales ~ and we still haven't had winter yet! Please don't tell me the hardy Canadian golfers continue to play in that? Lol
It reminds me of my four years living in Iceland.

Now that's snow!

I like the cold more than the heat, not the damp rain cold that we get here in the UK, hate that, but crisp cold, I love that

Loved your photos

We have similar banks if not higher. I am tired of inching onto highways and roads trying to see around them and taking a chance, come on spring!

Lovely photos . Sun is rising this morning so that's good and it has a UV index to it now so that is a sign of spring and the Lilacs are budding as are the trees and the birds are frisky and singing their mating songs . So we have signs of spring here popping up the real sign of spring for me is the return of the Robins , it is to warm up a bit by the end of next week so hoping ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good weekend !

We have NO snow, it's only -10C and next week it's going to be +11C again. It's been an amazing winter here with very little wind even. We are loving it.

Really you are going to hit a ball all over a huge lawn to wile away your days? Wait til the grass has at least dryed up.

Those photos may as well have been taken around here; it looks exactly the same in my freezing cold, snow-packed city! Thank goodness February is on its way out. Next stop...spring!

Gill that's an amazing amount of snow. The first photo looks like it was taken in the mountains! Beautiful photos though I can understand you looking forward to all that lot being gone.

If I could send you some of our heat and take some of your cold it would be wonderful. Pretty pics love the snow

I have never golfed...would be afraid I would get addicted with the first time I tried it. It has been cold here, broken several records lately...

Oh, it looks cold to me. I was out on Friday and I DID get out of my car. Silly me! :)

There's still mountains of snow here, Gill, and plenty cold so that when there is a bit of sun out melting stuff one day it freezes over solid again overnight. In some places the ice is several inches thick...we may have melting by Easter.
