There were a number of farm animals at the show on the weekend. Here are a few. The goats were so cute, thought they would be fine grass cutters!!

I would never make a farm animal a pet - leads to too many problems down the track. Know one farmer whose daughter turned a lamb into a pet. Ended up costing over $10,000AUS for vet care when it broke a leg and he did not have the heart to put in down with his sub-teen daughter intears and begging him to save her "Lambie"!
I still say, lease a herd for the grass!
Actually, sheep are better grass cutters than goats, I believe President Roosevelt used them to 'mow' the White House lawn at one point!

I never tried to make a pet of a pig, but heard they make good ones. People have those pot-bellied ones for pets.
