Skywatch Friday........

Wednesday (April 1st) we woke up to a drizzly damp overcast dull day. By the afternoon the sun was out and it was windy. I took these photos around 2pm. I didn't look directly at the sun to take them. Then I heard, then saw the plane, it's an Air Canada Plane. We live about half an hour from Toronto International Airport.

(as always click on the photos for more detail)

I can appreciate the joy in seeing this sunshine and blue sky after having a dull day. I am from your area and while in Arizona I surely am enjoying EVERY day here with bluest skies!sending sunshine your way! :)NG

Great pics, Gil! I love the way the light plays into 'rays'. I always get a lot of pleasure from your skyshots. Thank you.
Good luck with your move... btw, if your freezer is still at the house you could be cooking *two meals* at a time now, and freezing some to use later, during the move, that could be re-heated in a crockpot. I think three frozen meals could safely store in an 'ice chest' for the three days you are w/o your major appliances. Just a thought.
Hugs,
;-)

Love the starburst effect the sun created. They say it's bad for the camera, but so pretty!!!

It was nice to have you drop by my blog.

I grew up in Toronto Township southwest of the airport, I have seen many planes flying over.

I love the first one, so bright! And it looks as if the clouds are gathered round to listen. Really lovely.

I love those clouds and the way you have captured them a ind the sun. Hmmmmm Air Canada eh. I just hope they keep flying. I head home on the 30th of this month and I don't want to walk which is what I would have to do if they decide they can't afford to fly anymore. Great shot though. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Gill.
The first photo is the best one. It looks like some kind of special effect. Great.
As for getting inside the stadium here in PE, I got to go on a tour with a media group. Was lucky to see it.
