Finally I have a hint of colour in the garden, with these two flag irises. The poor things are bruised and battered though, as Friday it poured down all day and on both Friday and Saturday we had gale force winds. I also included the last photo, just to prove to you and myself, that eventually there will be a number of tulips flowering in the front garden........eventually!!!
I have no idea why the first three photo's all have their corners cut of....strange?

We still have snow so nothing is peeking out yet. Nice to see it's spring in your area.
Iris's are one flower that is still not up here. A little battered here but still nice. Love the colours.
Were you holding a Kleenex in your hand at the time you were holding the camera? Perhaps the corner got onto the lenses.
I think, the corners were cut because that's the color of the pavement. I am not sure. But those heavy rains did not spoil your blooms.
Lovely colors. They look like survivors.

Beautiful photos of the flowers and the color is cool too.
Pretty irises..perhaps a rabbit has been nibbling! I do hope you are not getting snow as some are in southern Ont.!
They seemed to behave like teenagers and refused to pose.
Glad you have something up.
A good sign of Spring. Very nice photos Gill, thank you for sharing them.
Hi Gill
Interesting flowers, like a wild plant!
Thanks for posting for TODAY'S FLOWERS!
