I love peaches but am not too keen on the furry skins. The smell of fresh peaches though are just delicious, and it says summer. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. We do grow peaches here in southern Ontario, so during the summer we can buy them by the basketful, I may try canning some this year if I have the time.

Your peaches sound watery. Way back in Orange, a country town 4 hours drive from Sydney, I grew Peach in our backyard. I did not know what to do with the plentiful fruits. I ended up sharing them with neighbours and birds. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a nice comment.
Oh those southern Ontario peaches!! I remember them. Marvelous. The only thing that rivals them (but in a different category I suppose), are the Big Boy tomatoes
my mouth is watering just thinking about them too!
I'd like a 47 please.;)
Now here is my heart - grew up on a southern Ontario peach farm - tons of stories to tell about that.
Thanks again for all the great recipes.
I love peaches too. I just wish the smell didn't remind me of late summer. I think they should come earlier in the year. Now I have a hankering for peach cobbler.
I love peaches, you've got some fantastic recipes here Gill, thanks very much.
I love peaches. We always wait until the B.C. peaches are out and then we are in seventh heaven. Thanks for all those recipes.
Peaches are the only fruit I've ever bottled. We had a very prolific tree and it is easy to do. We're some time away from peaches (assuming it doesn't get cold again and freeze the blossoms), but they do sound yummy.
By the way, many of Jeff Foxworthy's Canada jokes would work equally well in northern Utah.
Hi Gill,
I Love peaches!Thanks for sharing!
Happy Earth Day!

Just peachy!
Thanks Gill. I love peaches...
How are you??? We just got home from a vacation to Texas to see one of my sons and families. Weather was HORRIBLE.
Hugs,
Betsy
