Skywatch Friday......

The first two photos were taken at 7.15am this morning, quite funny to see half a moon out, I thought.

These two photos were taken this morning, notice the Canada Geese standing on top of the roof tops, and yes they were honking again (I mentioned the honking Geese in this post the other day) If you click on the photos you will see more detail.

Love the moon shots! And those honking geese - they never do know when to call it a day!

I have never seen Canada geese on roofs before. I'm amazed! Maybe it's beacause East Gwillimbury has so any ponds. ;-)

I like seeing the moon during the daytime; it's such a pleasant bonus to the day. Enjoy.

Well, I have to say that I have NEVER seen that many geese on rooftops before. Saw one on top of Macy's Roof at the mall once and took a picture of it, but you've got quite a few there. Great photos for SWF.

Great photos, perhaps the geese are talking to one another. Hope they didn't set too long, otherwise there's a mess on the roof.

How funny with geese on rooftops. I would've never thought geese do that. We get a lot of these geese in the summer but I've never seen one on any rooftops. Gulls of course do often sit on rooftops and attack people if they have young ones. The last photo in particular I thought was great with the geese and so much else happening at the same time.

The words Marks and Sparks have to be the most surprising tie in to a skywatch post. Lovely moon shots and only an expat could nod to M&s in such a way.

I love the photos of the geese on the roof tops....I know how annoying that is. I have about 60 of them who are roosting next door to me for the past 4 nights! I could never get a photo as good as yours! Happy Spring.

Gill: That is a neat sky you captured with the roof geese. Maybe they think they are roosters.
Did you notice the plane at the top of the third photo. That was a cool capture.

Those geese are very funny. Trying out for a role as a weather vane?

I have never seen Canadian Geese land on a house before. Maybe I need to look up more often!

Wonderful shots of the moon! But I have to admit that the photos of the geese standing on the houses just made me laugh!! I have never seen them do that before!!
And I was all set to hang out my first load of laundery, till I saw how much ice there was between the door and the line. So I have been chipping away at that, and still using the electric dryer. I cannot agree more with you about the sheets hung out!!
