I must say I would prefer to call it a Scrap Quilt, as its made with scraps of material, string quilt sounds strange to me???
Anyhow I set aside four hours this afternoon to quilt and I made another 28 blocks for a total of 36 so far. I am thinking I may need 80 blocks total for a full size quilt? A lot will depend on how far I can make my scraps stretch!!!
There probably won't be a lot of progress on it, until next week as I have a lot of other things to do the rest of the week, but I am liking what I have done so far, which is good.

Gill, it is turning out so nice. You've done a great job friend.
Great job, Gill. I like knitting, but have never liked sewing.
Your quilt is looking beautiful.
Very pretty Gill. Love the pattern and the colors.

Gill, it's very pretty. How effective your 'scraps' are!! It looks like 3D and very pleasing effect to the eye!!
You are doing a real nice job!
As it is it would make a lovely wall-hanging.
I've confessed I'm not a crafty person before Gill, but i do like the colour combinations in your quilt.
:-)
Gorgeous!!!
That look like so much work but it's definitely going to be beautiful!
