Ilove that the tree is the centerpiece, as a tribute to days gone by.

Oh, your shots of the sky and the trees are lovely. I love big ole trees. Those are really nice shots. Have a great weekend.
Thank goodness someone thought to save that beautiful tree!
Happy Sky Watch!
It's a pretty tree, and it provides a nice frame for the soft skies.
The trees are beautiful together with the serene sky, not to forget there is a little suburbia behind all this nature!
Lovely photos, thank goodness they left the tree :)
Beautiful series!
It is such a shame subdivisions cut so many trees down. I'm glad they left this one.
Lovely images!
Perfect catch for Skywatch Friday!!!! Mine's up too hope too see you around.. Have a great weekend!
Lovely photos, Gill.
BTW, I've given you an award, stop by and collect it some time.
Almost a British sky, nah no rain. Lovely collection. You can't beat a lie down on the grasss!
The tree is a gem. I'm glad they left it. Fabulous photos!
That tree looks huge when the photo is enlarged...it sort of reminds me of how around here thee will be a huge corn or bean field with one single lone tree in the middle of it.
Pretty collection of photos for sky watch friday. Thanks for sharing with us all.
Great photos, a wonderful tree! Happy SWF
Aw, that's so nice they left the tree. Its branches frame a beautiful blue sky. Wonderful photos!
At least they left a tree and some green space. Nice sky shot your tree provides.
Oooh, do you love taking pictures of the sky through trees too. I thought I was the only one fascinated by this.
Lovely pics.

Trees are so important for us. They give us oxygen, shade in the summer and beautiful colours in autumn. They are the homes for many animals and cannot be missed. There are countries where you are only allowed to cut a tree if you plant a young one in its place.
Your tree is very beautiful!
Thanks for your visit! Have a nice weekend!
How pretty - love the tree and it's colors!

What a beautiful tree! Here in England when they build on farmland they have to leave most of the trees (and the government gives many of them protection orders).
A beautiful tree and left for all to enjoy! They should leave more trees when they build. It should be a law.
It's so nice that they saved some of the trees. Most new housing areas are leveled before construction begins. I'm in Canada too. I invite you to come see my sky views from the BC Ferry to Powell River. -- Margy
wonderful entry into the SWF world! Love the tree and all the perspectives surrounding it!
Oh, yes, how wonderful that they did allow the tree to stay! Nice SkyWAtch scenes! Greetings from Iowa.
Wow, beautiful shots. Catching up here and loving all that you have shared but I guess I had better get ready for work and do more catching up later.
