These photos were taken from the car. It was a stormy sky and it ended with a stormy night.

There's a lot of movement in the sky! Very lively and spectacular.
Thanks for the visit!
The sky looks low enough to reach up and touch. Very nice photos.

Yes, does look a little ominous...but cool, too!
Lately, we have had a lot of skies that look just like this, haven't w? Today is sunny though! ;-))))
Good photos, it looks cold.
One never gets tired of cloud-watching, huh? Great set you have here - love the oncoming rain.

Britain looks a bit this way at the moment. Heavy ponderous skies.
Its lovely watching them go over or break up though.
I like both of these pictures. Thanks for sharing them.
Beatiful photo. Very dramatic and interesting sky. Wonderful.
Happy skywatching:-)

Hi to another Canadian blogger. Just stumbled your way and enjoy your blog.
Beautiful storm clouds! I like the trees etched against the sky. So lovely.
Lovely moody photos, thank you for sharing! (I could almost like rainclouds now LOL)
I was taking photos from the car tonight on the way home too. I've finally gotten the knack of not getting a close-up of a telephone pole...
Loved your post!
It does look stormy and cold too. I can see why there might have been hail from those clouds!
Good Photos! I don't like stormy weather!
Oooh! Such moody photos! :)
Happy Sky Watching!

Gill: It was nice some blue fought through for your second sky shot.
Hello Gill. Thanks for visiting my blog. You have some interesting comments and things here. I guess it is getting towards that time when the snow will soon cover everything and you will need to snuggle in with some hot chocolate in the evenings by the fire. Sounds lovely!!
I like your stormy sky shots. They are quiet dramatic. Happy SWF.
Thanks for visiting me! Nice skies to hurry home from!
Love the second one over the cornfield!

Hello again! Your pictures have a mixture of cloud... the predominant cloud is stratocumulus... it's like a blanket of cumulus clouds which are the puffy clouds and often mixed with cumulus as you have here. The bottom cloud has a predominant cumulus cloud in the lower center. Great capture. I bet it was wet.
It was a dark and stormy night.....
That's a good lead in to a story. Will you continue the story next Sky Watch Night.
I love those gray foreboding clouds so much--these are great shots.
And I will try your lemon bread recipe soon...looks yummy.
Beautiful clouds in the sky.
have a great weekend.
I like the second one too, have a happy SWF, and a happy Halloween!
