only (!!) a virus/sinus thing going on {SIGH} He gave me a prescription and told me to fill it if it didn't clear up in a few days. Otherwise pull up my big girls pants and get on with it, another {{SIGH}}
Spent a delightful couple of hours trying to get quotes on our house and car insurance. They range in price from less than $1,500 for both to nearly $2,500 for both {{{SIGH}}} For those of you who live in Ontario, Presidents Choice Financial Insurance is the cheapest so far and seems to have great coverage. Thinking we may go with them. Mind you as my mam always says, an Insurance Company is only as good as how it performs when you do your first claim.
Major crisis, well it is to my mind. My laptop is away for repair. The fan stopped working on it. Took out the extended warranty thank goodness, through Staples. I have very little faith in those guys after I sent in my Dell laptop for a new power cord and they changed the bloody hard drive..........there was NOTHING wrong with it {{{{SIGH}}}}
Told them this time under no circumstances do they touch my hard drive and to only change the fan. Called yesterday for an update and was ready to pull my hair out within seconds. He was rattling on about how they couldn't test the computer because of the security settings I had on it. Took me a minute to click he was talking about someone else's computer!! Finally got him talking about my computer and they have sent away to Toshiba for a new fan. Fingers crossed I get it back before the end of the year............I'm telling you I have no faith in them.
As you know we sold our lawn tractor back in April. Has anyone ever tried cutting five acres with a regular push lawn mower? Neither have I, BUT I am getting in plenty of practice in cutting around the house with a push lawn mower. Suffice to say I am NOT IMPRESSED!!
Got some more things sorted out. Cost $92.60 to get Canada Post to redirect our mail for a year. It's actually money well spent in my opinion as you always forget to tell someone you have moved.
Got some more packing done also today; still have a ways to go though. Who knew there was so much "stuff" in this house!!!

Impromptu Garage Sale
As I have mentioned before I have been selling things on Kijiji. With the weather being so much nicer on Saturday we had a tidy out and I posted a number of things on Kijiji. Lots of emails later, I tried to coordinate as many people as possible to come over on Sunday as dh had the day off and I figured he could help folk take things apart and load them into the vehicles.
I also figured while folk were coming for the things they wanted from Kijiji, I would see if I could sell them some other things.
Worked a charm and nearly $900 later, we have not only got rid of a lot of things, we even sold things that I never thought we would get rid of. Dh hates doing garage sales, but even he got into the swing of it!!
I will say that dealing with folk on Kijiji does try your patience, but needs must.
We have not put the lawn tractor up for sale yet, but as we want $6,000 for it, I feel we should put it on Kijiji sooner rather than later as it may take a while to sell. We do have a regular lawn mower that we can use to cut around the house, if we have too.

We said goodbye to our trusty friend last night......
She served us well over the past four years, but as many of you know she gave up the ghost in June. Now to be fair dh welded up the chassis and she did work, but has been outside since. We used her to pull things in the trailer, but we never put the cutting deck back on her.
Over the last week or so I have put things onto Kijiji and we decided to have a go selling her. On Saturday afternoon I went onto Kijiji to see what lawn tractors were selling for and there was an ad on Kijiji that said "Wanted Craftsman Tractors Dead or Alive." To cut a long story short we sold her for $125, as honestly she wasn't worth much and we were pleased to get that much for her. Mind you the guy also got spare parts that were worth in excess of $100, but they were of no use to us.
So, so far in the last month we have sold a kitchen sink, some bundles of insulation, a package of vapor barrier, an old sewing machine and at least 75 magazines and now the tractor. I still think it is a total pain in the butt selling things on Kijiji, but the goods we sold will come in useful for the people who bought them and the money comes in handy for us.
I hope come spring we have as much success in selling the wood chipper, the rototiller and the log splitter!
Look at all the Christmas trees that are cut and wrapped already? This is why I prefer my artificial tree rather than a "fresh" one that drops it's needles!

Saga of the car continues........
As of Thursday night the car is still at the garage. I called a couple of times to see how things are going. It's not starting now for them so that is good news. However they can't figure out what is wrong with it. The garage is in contact with Ford Canada to see what they say/suggest. However the gist of the situation is we are no further forward than we were on Monday.
As I said to them at some point I do have to have my car back. As it was dh had to take Thursday afternoon off of work to take me to an appointment. Also it's not like we live in town, I do need a car to go anywhere. So we'll see what today brings. If we're not getting anywhere I am going to see about them giving me a car to use.
On Thursday morning we took delivery of our new lawn tractor. No we haven't come into money, we have had to finance this, but when we have paid off the mortgage we will get this paid off. This is not what we had planned, but there's not a lot we can do about it. The grass won't stop growing just because our lawn tractor broke down.
Are we fed up in this household, heck yes, but we have to keep going.........

Glad to get yesterday over with, mind you the nightmare continues...........
Yes it was our 30th wedding anniversary yesterday, and thank you for all your good wishes but what a rotten day it was.
Betsy has been giving me problems over the past week. Betsy is my car and you can see a photo of her here As you can see Betsy is just over a year old, so Betsy shouldn't be giving me any problems at all, but she is.
It all started last Thursday. I had to go to my monthly quilt club meeting, got in the car, went to start it, the car kept turning over but wouldn't start. So called the garage, who called the tow truck. When the tow truck driver came he tried the car and it started first time (rolling eyes). So it was decided I wouldn't take it to the garage but just monitor the situation. Drove the car Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Saturday night dh and I decided we would have a Subway sandwich, drove to Subway in my car, got the sandwich, came back to the car and turned it on and it did the same thing. Luckily this time dh was with me, so he was a witness to it. Managed to get it going and brought it home.
Called the garage on Monday and they told me to bring it in on Tuesday. We decided to drop it off on Monday afternoon to save me from having to wait for a ride. Got in the car and yet again it wouldn't start. We went to the garage as I wanted dh to explain things to them and arrange for them to have the car towed in. Came back home and of course it started, so cancelled the tow truck and drove it to the garage.
Called them a couple of times on Tuesday and the car starts no problem and when put on the computer no faults have shown??? Told them to keep it today to see what happens, because unless it won't start they have no idea what to do. Meanwhile I now own a car which is iffy to say the least. I hate to say this but fingers crossed the bloody thing doesn't start so they can at least do something about it.
As it was a nice day on Tuesday I decided to tackle our "hay field." It's growing so long and thick with all the rain we have been having that it took me forever to get it done. I still had a bit to do when the tractor wouldn't go either forwards or backwards when I put my foot on the pedal. It turns out I have done something that requires a new chassis in it, along with maybe a new gear box. Which means I need a new tractor..................I could cry at this point.
The poor tractor wasn't made to cut five acres, and so we have been lucky it has lasted as long as it has. That being said a new lawn tractor will cost between $8 to $10 THOUSAND. There is little to no point in us buying a cheaper one, as it won't last any time. As it is I have just spent $124 on the old one as it broke down a week or so ago. We have a regular gas push lawn mower so I guess I will be using that to cut around the house, the rest will have to wait until we figure out what we are going to do.
We are reluctant to go second hand as we don't want to inherit someone else's problems and trying to find one at a good price and getting it home is also an issue.
Then the UV light alarm was going off last week, the bulb had gone for some reason; never happened before. We have turned it off and ordered a bulb from Amazon. Luckily I had enough gift cards saved up to pay for that. It's sitting at the post office waiting to be picked up. Meanwhile we don't have the well water going through the UV light system and that make me nervous. As our fridge water filter needs to be replaced as well and just haven't had the chance to go and get one in Barrie.
When the tractor broke down, it of course broke down at the far end of the field. So to cut a long story short dh had to take his truck down there and we had to tow it back to the house. By the time we had fiddled on with that and talking to the garage about the car, I was in no mood to go out to dinner for our anniversary, however dh insisted we go.
For some reason I decided to call the restaurant we planned on going just to make sure we didn't have to make a reservation. Turns out they are closed until July for renovations (SIGH) So in the end we went for fish and chips as we were both fed up with everything. Will say the fish and chips were good; they always are, but it wasn't exactly the romantic anniversary meal we had planned, or hoped for.
I sat and did the Sudoku in the Toronto Sun newspaper and dh sat and read the John Deere lawn tractor brochure while we waited for our meal.
These things can only make us stronger, right?

Rudely awoken at 2:45 am this morning..........
by something being killed and not happy about it, along with a bunch of coyotes happy about catching their supper/breakfast and being VERY vocal about it. I guess it didn't help that I had one of our bedroom windows open so it made the sound even louder; and it sounded as though they were doing it directly under the window.
Good news on the lawn tractor front I went to Barrie and picked up the parts and dh managed to put it all together again. Cost $130 for the parts and while I was in the parts depot I met a guy who used to repair Sears lawn tractors for a living, and he informed me that the other side will go as well eventually. Also told me it's a common thing to go on the tractor and our tractor is much too small for the amount of grass I cut. So I felt better after talking to him.
Thank goodness dh is so handy as I dread to think how much this repair would have cost if we had, had to take the tractor somewhere. As it was, the guy at dh's work had to "burn" off the locking nut to get it off. Also some of you suggested that my dh cut the grass. He has too many DIY projects to do that I can't do and I enjoy cutting the grass, so if I want the renovations done around the house, then I have to take care of the outside work.
I did manage to get the veggies put in the garden. Will go out and check them later to see if I have any left. I also spent a good 3 hours whipper snipper/edging - cutting the grass, and I managed to fit in a couple of hours of cutting the grass. I must admit that whipper snipping does not do my hands any good at all with the vibrations. They felt really strange for a couple of hours after I had finished it. Never mind; I have been wearing my splints on a night, as all the cutting and trimming I was doing with the quilt on the weekend also killed my hands.
Would you believe I am coughing again and coughing up green and chunky (sorry TMI.) I had stopped my inhalers, but I guess I had better start again. Has anyone else had Bronchitis and the doctor told you to use inhalers? How long did you have to use the inhalers for?
Going to spend the day outside cutting grass. Got Kamikaze hill done last night along with part of the field; only a small part mind you. So I want to see if I can get the rest done today before it rains. Reckon I will have about five or six hours worth of grass cutting to do. Enjoy your Wednesday.

Overrun with rabbits........
I am up to three rabbits and a baby one I saw this morning in my tomato patch (SIGH)
I have a live trap out but had no luck in catching anything. I need to move it and see if I have better luck. Read a couple of things on the Internet; they like peanut butter and hate blood meal. So I guess I'll put some peanut butter in the trap and when I plant out my veggies today, I'll spread blood meal all over?
For those of you who had read this blog over the past four year will know I spend most of the summer in the dog house with dh, as I am constantly breaking the flipping lawn tractor. Well I have done it again; this time breaking the Mandrel Assembly It's something that is needed to make the blades go round on the cutting deck of the mower. So a trip to Barrie is going to be in order to get the spare part from Sears today. Dh has had to take the whole mower deck to work to see if they have the tools to loosen the main screw as he couldn't do it at home.
So it will be a favourite meal of dh's for supper tonight to make him happy. Hash browns as I have no fries, fried eggs and baked beans. Meanwhile I'll try and keep out of trouble!!

Home of the week and other things
Well this weeks home of the week is a on sale for a cool $1 million!! When I first saw it I thought perfect, then I realized it's a semi and you're only getting half of the house, not so perfect. I still think its a gorgeous looking house from the outside though. However totally disappointed with the inside, the space is not well laid out to my mind. Some rooms seem huge, while others much too small. It won't take you long to cut the grass.....oh wait there is not grass to cut!!!
You're paying for the location here, as it's across the road from the lake. However as someone commented it's a busy road, so you have to contend with traffic noise as well. Overall love the look of it outside, not too keen on it inside, especially the wall paper in the powder room, huge pattern for a small area!!
What's your thoughts?
I spent part of yesterday in the garden and have more or less cleaned out the veggie patch of weeds. Another hour of weeding and it should be ready to rototiller and put too bed for winter, mind you I have to dig up the veggies first.
I have been quiet about the tractor this year, haven't I? Well thought it was too good to be true, I went and broke the bloody thing yesterday. I broke a bolt off the bottom, so can't cut the grass now until dh takes it all apart and attaches another bolt. I can still use it to pull the trailer around, just not for cutting grass {SIGH}
You know I think it dropped off as I cleaned underneath the cutter with the hosepipe, which is very unusual for me, and I think it shocked my poor old tractor and the bolt dropped off?
A very important message to my neighbours:
You know I like all of you, but could you do me a little favour and stop dropping off your laundry at our house for me to do. I did another couple of loads on Thursday and even my iron is protesting on how much ironing it has had to do recently.

Poor old lawn tractor is not well again........
the main belt is slipping, so it is not happy about moving period, so now have to find a belt. Called Sears parts and spoke to a lovely lady in the Phillipines (I think that is where the call centre is) and was told the part is on a two week back order. So I'll pop up to Barrie to the parts place and see if they have one on Wednesday. I have to work today, so can't go today.
I finished up the last of the wedding jam on Monday, and even made a start on my own jam. We finally got rain on Monday as we were desperate for rain.
Though I would gladly give any rain we got to those poor people in Somalia, it's awful what they are going through over there.
The news seem to be full of bad news at the moment. What happened in Norway is just terrible and not just for the people who died, but for the people who witnessed it.
In Canada in the news featured Jack Layton stepping down while he fights a second bout of cancer. Poor man does not look well at all, sending prayers his way for a quick recovery.

I finished up the last of the wedding jam on Monday, and even made a start on my own jam. We finally got rain on Monday as we were desperate for rain.
Though I would gladly give any rain we got to those poor people in Somalia, it's awful what they are going through over there.
The news seem to be full of bad news at the moment. What happened in Norway is just terrible and not just for the people who died, but for the people who witnessed it.
In Canada in the news featured Jack Layton stepping down while he fights a second bout of cancer. Poor man does not look well at all, sending prayers his way for a quick recovery.

Still struggling with leaving comments via Blogger
Karine, you are one of those that I cannot leave a comment no matter how I try. There isn't even an anonymous option on yours. It's beginning to become more than frustrating to say the least!!!
Had a question for you all. When you cut your grass do you always cut it in the same direction every time, or do you vary it?
I personally try and cut it in different directions as I read somewhere that it makes the grass grow in better. Not that mine needs any bloody encouragement, it's still on steroids the way its growing.
Had to spray myself from head to foot with bug repellent on Wednesday night as they were out in force. Must admit it did do the trick as they left me alone.
Got nearly 310 hours on the clock on the tractor since we got it in May of 2009. Will say all that time has not been spent cutting grass with it, I use it with the trailer for hauling stuff around the property.
That reminds me, on Tuesday at work I sent out nearly 250 marketing emails. Now granted I just kept forwarding the original email on, I did have to make changes in the body of the email to personalize it though. I was fed up to the back teeth of the computer by the time I had finished, plus my poor bum was numb with sitting there all day. So being on the computer was the last thing I wanted to do when I got home.
We are now sending invoices via email to customers now, partly due to the postal strike that we have on at the moment. We have also set up online accounts to view bills. I think the Canada Post employees have not done themselves any favours this time with going on strike, as people are finding other options to get mail to one another. I know we will be saving a ton of time and money at work not having to send invoices out.

In a "funk" at the moment............
well and truly fed up. No idea why, maybe having constant toothache isn't helping my mood. The weather was rotten on Saturday and Sunday I found it a bit hot for me? I also broke the belt on the lawn tractor on Sunday afternoon, so that means a trip up to Barrie on Monday afternoon to buy one of them, so no doubt there won't be much change out of $50 to $75 knowing our luck.
I have no interest in the garden, although I did make a half hearted attempt at weeding one of the flowers beds. The potatoes and onions are still not planted, and I don't anticipate them ever being planted at this point. I just need a kick up the rear end to get me moving.
Did I tell you I got bitten on my ankle with some sort of insect? It wasn't a mosquito, as it didn't swell up that bad, but boy did it itch. I ended up getting some Benadryl liquid stick thingy to put on it. It's finally stopped itching four days later.
I am also heading to the hospital on Wednesday to have tests done on both my arms. I had the carpal tunnel operated on my right hand in 2002; however I am having the same symptoms again in both arms. However this time I think a lot of it has to do with the nerves in my elbow. My left hand is particularly bad, and the finger tips go numb so easily. I was washing my hair and I lost feeling in the thumb and two fingers next to it. Have the same problem when I am holding the telephone, so figured I had better get it looked at before I permanently lose the feeling in them.
Well on that "happy" note I will sign off and hopefully I'll cheer up soon!!!

Gardening season and wedding dresses
granted we still have patches of snow on the ground, in places where the sun hasn't been hot enough to melt it, but gardening season is here. So I decided to take down the snow fences.....so of course that means we can't have anymore snow. The posts still have to be taken down, but I am not strong enough to do that.
I also started to do a bit of raking and have got a lot of piles of twigs and leaves from round by the willow tree to pick up, but to do that I need to get the tractor and trailer out. So are you prepared to hear me start and whine about the lawn tractor!!!! First let's hope I can get it started!!
I think the blasted voles and mice have eaten my daffodil bulbs by my hydrangea bushes which sucks. There are holes everywhere where I planted them. I do see the odd bulb popping up in my flower gardens though, so hopefully by the end of the month I will see some spring flowers.

She ended up trying a few dresses on then, and has basically made up her mind what she wants. She wants to try a couple more on just to make sure though. So this time she has an appointment. Her dad and I along with the bridesmaids are going. Mind you she is "late" ordering her dress as it takes six months to get her dress and another two months for alterations. No idea why it should take that length of time? If anyone is "into" wedding dresses maybe you could fill us all in. Otherwise I will ask the lady about it in the store today. For those of you in North America, I wonder if it will be a " Say Yes To The Dress," moment?

Odds and ends for Thursday........
I spent nearly all Wednesday morning on the telephone, sorting out bits and bobs.
Registered the washer and dryer for the extended warranty. Spoke with the most polite, happy and sickly sweet woman there, I mean she was so polite and happy it was scary by the end of the conversation...LOL
Found a plumber to come and stick his camera down my sewage pipe!!! I'll explain more on that when it happens, which should be one day next week...........I will be parting with $250 for the pleasure!!!
Talked with dd future mother-in-law..........known her and her dh for the past ten years and we get on really well.
Sent numerous emails and made a couple more phone calls, by that time it was 12 noon.
In the afternoon I had to snow plow the driveway, not because we had a pile of snow only a couple of inches, but as it was blowing a gale force the drifts were terrible on the driveway.
We went out when dh got home and one place we called into was Home Depot. Would you believe they had all their lawn tractors out. Had to laugh at that as we are still in the throws of winter, infact we have two snow storms coming our way over the next week. So I don't think Home Depot has talked to Mother Nature about winter being over with!!

That bloody tractor is broken AGAIN.........
and this time it wasn't me that broke it..........
Actually all that's wrong with it, is the battery is flat in it, as ds left it switched on and flattened the battery. So now we have to go and buy a bloody battery charger for it. Meanwhile the lawn looks like a hay field again.
I don't know, that lawn tractor will be the death of me. So I guess on my "day off" on Tuesday I will spend the day cleaning the house and doing laundry again instead of cutting the grass. At least it's a bit cooler with temps in the low to mid 30's with the humidity, so that's a blessing.
Otherwise things are quiet around the Acreage. Oh, dh did pick up a new garage door for $165. It says on the instructions that it take's between 9 to 12 hours to install it???? What the heck...........told him he could install it when my brother is here..........I bet my brother would love that....not!!
Meanwhile mustnag encourage dh to get the closets finished so I can get the bedroom and bathroom decorated before he arrives, otherwise he is going to have to sleep in a foot of dust in the bedroom. Oh and Molly has decided she likes to sleep in the spare bedroom bed, under the covers no less when we are not in. So along with all the dust there is the dog hair as well......nice or what!

And pigs might fly
God bless dh and the mechanics at the factory, as they have welded together the deck for me, and it works a charm now. Infact it's cutting a lot better. So I have managed to get a bit of the grass cut this weekend. I picked the rest of the peas on Sunday; so need to blanch and freeze them.
I am following this story at the moment. I think it is interesting that France voted to ban the Burka in the first place; now Britain is talking about it. I know that law would never pass here in Canada; however stranger things have happened!!
Also if you have another minute read this story as this involves companies from this side of the ocean as well........

Good news, bad news......
Good news, we have central air now....YEAH!!! And it's not one million degrees in the house anymore.....which in turn means I am not as miserable and neither should dh be..........oh and then there is the bad news.............I have knackered broken the lawn tractor AGAIN. This time it's not the blades, I have broken the cutting deck, so dh has had to dismantle it and take it too work to have it welded..........so dh is miserable..........and I am in the dog house AGAIN! By the way I have no idea how I did it!
This was the sun rising on Thursday morning, gorgeous isn't it?
On Wednesday morning, we had a couple of deer in the yard, and they were big and pretty close to the house. Well that was until Molly saw them and all hell broke loose, as she went mad barking like a crazy dog.
I am quite sure, if those deer had come close to Molly she would have been terrified!!
Oh and the rabbit I posted about in this post; well it must have told all his friends that we have a veggie patch, as guess what I saw in my veggie patch.....yep more rabbits!! So I guess next year we will have to make the veggie patch rabbit proof {SIGH}

Thursday's happenings.........
Lots to talk about. I finished off the new garden, have yet to take a photo of it though. Fiddled on outside for a couple hours first thing on Thursday morning. That also included cutting some grass with the lawn tractor. However that also meant me wrecking another blade on the tractor. I know I give up with this cutting of the lawn. So I now have to order some more blades, as I dug up stones and ruined the blade(s)
I went to Sears to get some more blades, but of course they had none in stock. Tried a couple of other places in town, but of course nothing fits. {{SIGH}}
I went to the doctors, and my arm is fine, and I am doing everything that I should be doing and it will mend eventually. So that's good.
Dd and I met up with a dear friend and had lunch at her work. She's a buyer for a big company and they have a huge cafeteria. Anyhow, they were giving out sample of icecream, so of course me and dd had to taste test them just to make sure they were okay!!! We sampled three flavours, me: mint choc chip, banans split and caramel toffee crunch. Dd tasted the mint choc chip, the caramel toffee crunch and the sprinkle party icecream. Here is a full list of the flavours; mint choc chip was both our favourites. The things I do for you.....I deserve a medal!! LOL
Poor Molly is rushed off her feet as the chipmunks have materialised again, and she runs back and forward from one window to the next looking at them.
She also started to bark up a storm this morning, couldn't decide at what to start with and then I saw it up in the tree.
Here is it's bum...........yep a raccoon.

I'm pooped.........
the heat is a bit too much for me and Molly.
I was out in the garden just after 7am on Tuesday and managed to get the soil moved into the new garden. It's still not finished yet as I have to buy more edging. I was disappointed with the quality of soil/compost mix I got. It was full of weeds, and information stakes that come with plants, even a plastic pot and some netting. I called the garden centre and the owner told me that they make their own compost and that it's normal to find that sort of thing in their compost??? Remind me not to order soil from there again............
Anyhow, I am planting Gladioli and another annual that I can't for the life of me remember the name in that garden bed. Here is a link to a photo of the plant, it's the second photo the tall red plant.
I managed to get more grass cut before it got too hot. Dd is coming over today, so she is going to start on the field for me.
We picked up these Emerald Cedars on sale this weekend. There are ten of them and I want to plant them on the north west side of the property to eventually make a wind break from the winter winds. We are hoping to achieve this screening before we die, that is why we picked up four foot plants not little baby ones!! I am willing to plant them a little further apart to alow them to fill in naturally, as on the internet they reccomend them being planted at least two feet from the trunk. I was thinking closer to four feet apart? I'll see, when I get them all set out.

I finally got around to putting lemon juice on my quilt block to see if I can get rid of the scorch marks;
I just looked at it, and the scorch marks seem to be a bit lighter, so have put some more lemon juice on it.

Well here we go again..........
the heat and the humidity has arrived. We are expected to reach a temperature of 33 oC (91 oF) with the humidity this afternoon. Tomorrow is no better and it is slightly cooler by a degree or two for the rest of the week.
It was only a week or so ago when we had the fire on as it was so cold? It's never a gradual increase in temperatures here, one minute it is cold then boom the heat and humidity arrives.
It's been a busy weekend, got a few jobs done so that is good. Still have a lot more to do though. Dh got the pieces all welded back together on the tractor and has got that going for me again. Thank goodness he is so handy; it saves us a pile a money. My dad and stepmum came over on Sunday and helped out around the place. I don't know where my dad gets all the energy from at his age; he works non stop. He got some more of my veggie patch dug over and another row of potatoes planted. So now I have at least 100 potatoes planted, and still a third of a sack of potatoes left. We'll just eat the rest in the sack.
My hand is a lot better, as I am wearing my splint on a night. My heels are a lot better as well, which is good news. My arm is starting to heal; though I do think I should have maybe had it stitched to close the hole up. I have a dressing on everynight, and despite the fact I have bought ultra sensitive tape my poor skin around it is so sore and bruised with pulling off the tape every morning.
My biggest problem though is my tooth, a visit to the dentist this week is a must. I am chewing liquid Advil like candy at the moment to ease the pain. So the sooner I get it seen too the better.
It's a holiday today here in Canada, Victoria Day, where we celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday? I know as far as I know they don't do that in Britain, so why here in Canada? Regardless, for everyone who works outside of the house, its a paid day off, so no ones complaining!!
On the wildlife front, good news, there is activity in the Martin House. I don't see any washing hung out yet, but I am sure the birdies are moving in.
