I mentioned in this post, that we had bought an old dresser for the spare bedroom. I finally got it all cleaned up and put together on Monday so I took a couple of photos. It goes perfectly in the bedroom and with the period of the house.
I love the detail on the mirror. The bed is from Ikea.
What neat drawer pulls, don't you think?
It's seen a lot of wear and tear but is still in lovely condition.

I love the handles too and the detailing on the mirror-it`s very satisfying and rewarding spotting a bargain especially with a little tender TLC they turn out as well as yours-well done !
Hi Gill,
I love your flap hat - very useful. The dresser came up beautifully, you have done a great job, it is beautiful.

OH my!!the grass police will visit me too,I have a small incline on my front lawn,I bag all my grass for compost and the mower gets heavy to push uphill.
Love your dresser, they don't make furniture like that any more do they?

I love that dresser....I just love old furniture period.
I read about you buying your brushcutter...the ordeal sounds like something we would go through. Nothing is ever simple in our life.
The dresser is beautiful! Great find!! :) I haven't done my lawn in forever, not bothering with it now till spring!
Don't worry Gill, I'm a creature of habit and used to always cut the grass in the same direction and it never did it any harm whatsoever, we actually had the nicest lawn in the neighborhood!
I love the your dresser, it's gorgeous!
Love the dresser -- and your floors!
