So now it is my job to move all of them, round the corner of the garage and stack them on the log store we made.
We had to buy the wood to make it with but we had everything else on hand.
Saturday is going to be a busy day for us, as the kids are coming over to give us a hand around the house and the garden.
*****Blogger is doing things to my posts, I had deleted the "Another anniversary" part of the heading, but I see it has appeared. So the Anniversary part I was going to tell you about, is it's 28 years ago today when me and dh went out on our first date!!

loads of logs , that wood store should give the mice somewhere to live.
WOW! That is a lot of wood - make sure you're wearing gloves when you tackle that job. How close is the wood storage to your house? Hopefully not a far treck in the winter to get the wood.
Yup I'm expecting the mice will hide in it. Come winter, you'll probably be wanting more wood. I agree with Kiki, make sure you are wearing gloves or you're going to get slivers.
Congrats on your "special" anniversary. Hugs.
Happy Anniversary! Someone is going to have nice warm cozy fires this season......
your brother is cheeky eh? LOL
you are really making progress with everything. excellent job on the wood store. mice will be mice. just keep 'em out of the house and you'll be fine. keep up the good work, it's a great read. :-)
How far do you have tho carry that load! yikes! my dau only used a cord this past winter
Be careful, take it easy, that's a lot of wood to be moving. You'll end up with a stiff back and sore hands from picking up and or grabbing the chunks of wood. that looks like an awfully lot of wood. Now will you have to cover it with a tarp to keep the rain and snow from sitting on it? Hope you're able to get out of bed in the morning.
Uhhuh and I know what those kids would be busy doing, too!
