Today's Flower

There is one thing I am growing in abundance this year and that is Thistles, however despite the fact they are a weed, they do have a very pretty flower.

Although pretty don't let that weed go to seed or you're going to have way more next year.

Well, they're pretty as long as they stay on your blog. Good for nothing but sneezin' down here!

Weeds have flowers, too, and I love to look at thistles, even if they are prickly. Thanks for sharing your photos.

When I was first married we had this really sunny front door patio, Where the sun RAGED through summer until about 1pm nothing would gronw there without masses of water (and remembering to do it)
So I planted out about five pots with onion weed it is strappy and green and gets this really pretty tiny flower in white, for years is flowered its little head off in those pots with no water except the rain - and everyone asked what it was!!!!! They thought I was mad but one mans weed is another mans national emblem!!!Same with people sometimes
