Across the fields at the back of the house is this watery area. I haven't been near it yet, it looks sort of swampy, plus its not our property, and swamps = snakes!!! I took these photos off our back deck.

What beautiful scenery from the back deck! I suppose the swamp and snakes might not be too inviting for an up-close visit.
Looks to me like it'll be a wonderful place to explore. ;-)
Nice shot.
But I agree whith you I wouldn´t go there either. I don´t like snakes at all.

Love this view. Great photos
I would remember that equation, swamp = snakes. I better keep out then.
Snakes? I would have kept my distance, and only watched the great view!
Lovely scenery but with hidden dangers..... like snakes!
Cool photos of the swamp. We have a lot of swamps here in Florida. Its a great place ti see wildlife.
Nice shots. I think I'd explore it a little until I saw my first snake and then that would be all she wrote. :-)
i love the trees around and a cute little swampy water.
awesome view of the trees and a little watery there. happy wednesday.
beautiful captured of a little swampy water and the tress surrounding it.
Nice shots !!
I think I'd be a little wary as well. I was not used to snakes at all, when I moved over to the US.
There are no snakes in NZ, not even in the zoos !
Swamps and snakes! Nasty! I thought we had all the baddies HERE!
Lovely swampy, snaky area~
What a lovely view you have ... enjoyed from a distance through your camera might be best with SNAKES around ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I think I would freak out if I ran into a swamp snake, neat post though.
