Today's Flower

These two purple flowers are growing wild in the garden. The first one grows in the shade, the second one, seems to prefer the sun. No idea what either of them are called, do you?

Wild flowers have always a special charm and deserve a place in any garden. I think your first one is called Ajuga, the second one looks like a wild violet.

I love wild flowers - I think the ones in the second photo could be a form of violet.

That is a nice flower color.

The first is Carpet Bugle (Ajuga) and the second is a Violet (Viola).

Be careful both plants like to invade your garden very quickly.
Have a wonderful Victoria Day!!
Thank you for comments!
