I went to a new quilting store today called Sew Sisters for the rest of today and tomorrow, there is 25% off all material and 10% of notions, both in store and ON-LINE. There are a lot of fabrics at $4.99 per yard, then an extra 25% off of that. I picked up 52 fat quarters, 32.5 metres of fabric, another 1.35 metres of offcuts, a pair of embroidery scissors, two heart shaped clover Yo-Yo makers all for $282.09.
That means I am stocked for this year on material....it's truly worthwhile taking a look!!!!
I will post photos later in the week..............

I did a little online shopping there yesterday! I love going to that shop -- Judy is so much fun to be around!
Sounds like you did really, really, really well!!

It sounds as if you got some real bargains -- and it sounds as if you will be very busy this year!
Hi Gill, I am not a quilter although I have several and LOVE them. I did send the link to my quilter friend.
Hugs,
Betsy
Gill, I'm not sure about the beaded trim in Toronto. There are a few really good bead shops in the Queen West district of Toronto. I think one of those shops might be your best bet in Toronto. Unfortunately, I don't know the shop names! But wandering about Queen West on a Saturday afternoon can be a real adventure and fun!
Now Gill, you defnitely have the quilting bug. Glad though you found some great deals. I'm determined I won't buy any material for quilts this year, just use up what I already have. Dh lol when he hears that one.
Get thee behind me, Satan!! lol
I'm trying not to buy anything for a while and get rid of a bunch of my stash!
I'm only going to look......
Hi Gill,
Yes everything is ok for the moment, I haven't been blogging because I have a three year old...She is making life very very hard at the moment, if there is something she is not allowed to get into, she is there. I used to be a Nanny but I am totally beside myself with her. Its not just normal day to day things, its starting to cost us big money.
Anyway some better news, my son has finally decided to walk. And I'm pregnant with number three, nineteen weeks now.
Chat again soon
Amanda
I hope you find some deals like I did, and I did my post tonight of what I bought, and it will be posted on Thursday.
Gill
