Today's Flower...

For me this week I have chosen a couple of photos which have butterflies as well as flowers in them.

No idea what this flower is though?

I think the flower is a dianthus.

Flowers are beautiful on their own, but they're truly much more beautiful when there's a butterfly or a bee sniffing it's fragrance.

My flower photo is now posted here. Have a great week ahead!

The first plant is an Oleander bush - their flowers come in white, yellow, peach, pink and hot pink.

And you're correct about the second one being dianthus. :)

Nice captures of the butterflies on the flowers. I just read Leah's comment. I thought they were oleanders but since you live in the north I figured they couldn't be. I forgot you had traveled. lol. I've read they are very poisonous if ingested.

These are both very pretty. I love that first one especially, it's such a soft and pretty color.

The yellow oleander is beautiful and I like the pink dianthus. Good shots!
