Gill - the fainting goats video got funnier as it went on, especially when several of them went down at the same time.

O.K. Us Southerner's do some weird thing.lol Most does catch catfish with a fishing pole around my neck of the woods. I don't like to fish,but love catfish, they are a bit tricky to clean,they have slick skin, the best way to clean them is nail them to a tree,but thats another post!lol
We have fainting goats around here , a plane flies over or a loud nosie and they faint.

I have seen the Fainting goats in my Biology Class last year! It's pretty neat. I hope they don't get hurt doing that.
I have seen news clips on both fainting goats and the catfish before. Can you imagine the first man who ever jumped into a river down south, and came up with a big old catfish on his arm? How scary would that have been? Then a lightbulb went off somewhere and a pastime was born.

Ok Gill, several things are going through my mind, the foremost thought is where on earth did you find these videos, I mean, I just can't see you browsing through you Tube seeking out fainting goats. Secondly, the cat fish thing, ugh! My skin was crawling at the thought of a) putting my head in that dirty swampy looking water and b) actually touching a slimy fish with my bare hands. Ugh! The faiting goat thing is fascinating. You don't think it hurts them does it? I mean it is so strange.
raining sheep, no I didn't go sifting through the You Tube videos. I can't remember where I found out about fainting goats now, I have known about them for quite some time.
Catfish noodling, a guy told me about it at work, it was on tv or something.........
Both are strange things to me.
