All the Ziploc bags washed and drying in the window sill from the tomatoes and peppers:
Clear blue skies and barely a breath of wind:
It looks as though there are diamonds shining brightly on top of the snow:
Even Molly was enjoying the weather:
Good day to be alive!!

It is an absolute beautiful day ! I wish all Winters were like today. I am actually playing with the thought of going into town and having a walk with a friend. Chicken Soup simmering on the burner and sunshine coming full force through the windows ... lovely day, let's keep it.
Just caught up on all your posts this week.
I'll look out for that book.
Thanks for the recipe which I've copied down.
Shown wedding video to Mr Sft and we loved it.
Beautiful photos of a beautiful day!

Gill,
Love the look of your fireplace.
That turtle trivet brought back memories, I use to have a set of them that decreased down in size.
I also love the look of diamonds in the snow. I just want to go out and try to pick out the biggest among them.
Winter can be a special time to take photos as you have shared with your bloggers.
Your photo of the drying baggies makes me laugh as I often do that as well.
It IS a beautiful day today. If we never saw snow I would be quite happy!
Lovely pics - your day does look lovely.
Hugs, Kaye xoxox
Gorgeous photos. Would I get free board and lodgings in return for the gardening? :)
Absolute opposite here - tops 35C (100F) one day, then thunderstorms and cool southerly breezes the next.
We had lovely weather here today too! Cold, but very sunny.
Poor dog - she seems to be wishing that white stuff away!
i had no idea you could freeze whole tomatoes like that, (do it with peppers though)... great idea for next summer!
I think we have less snow than you do...
Sounds like a great day there :-)
Beautiful shots! Have a happy Sunday, Gill.
Glad you had such a great day.
Humm, frozen tomato's,I will have to give that a try this summer, would bet the heck out of canning in the 100 degree heat all summer long. Love that you are cooking on your wood stove. I should do that more often, so cozy!!
Very pretty pics of the snow, and your fireplace is fantastic. I hope Molly is feeling much better
Nice spot for defrosting tomatoes! :))
